We were hoping to be closer to Heathrow, but staying here was not as convenient as we had hoped. It's a fine hotel, but would probably stay at another hotel in the future that either has a shuttle to LHR or w/in LHR if possible. There was a tube station nearby, but we would have to drag our luggage 11 mins before getting there, too much of a hassle.

Nice hotel for an overnight stay at Heathrow. If you arrive at Terminal 5, take the free bus 30 that will drop you off at Terminal 4. Crown plaza is a short walk on the covered bridge linked to the hotel. If you arrive at Terminals 2 and 3, take the train to terminal 4. Hotel is connected to terminal 4 via short walk on the bridge. They also serve an excellent breakfast. LHR is a large airport and requires quite a bit of walking. So give yourself plenty of time before your flight’s departure.

Thus is a perfect hotel for travellers passing through Heathrow. We stayed 2 nights and it is walkable with all our luggage from Terminal 4 linkbrudge. The next day we took the Piccadilly Line into London City for sightseeing and the Big Red Bus. It was very easy. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was a very good buffet. I would definitely stay here again for this tyoe of travel.

Sandra in the bar was the highlight. The shower needed descaling, the outer pane of glass of the window was shattered, there was no kettle and no chair for the desk. The bed was very hard but this is a personal thing.
