Good stay

Early check-in was allowed (2-3pm) at no cost, which was helpful. Thermostat had to be reset downstairs to work properly, but staff was helpful in doing so. No shuttle to airport, but £6-7 bus comes frequent enough to get you to terminals 2,3,5. Restaurant/Sports Bar next door (Holiday Inn) was good. Breakfast (free) was loaded with options, including gluten free items.

We arrived late, hoping to get some rest between flights, but our experience was far from restful. Despite noting that we were traveling with a child, the pull-out couch for our son was not made up. We requested it be prepared while we went out for a quick bite, but when we returned an hour later—exhausted and ready for bed—it was still not done. After asking again, we were told it would take another 20 minutes due to a staff shift change. By the time it was finally set up, it was nearly midnight. Just as we settled in, unsettling noises began coming from the room next door—moaning, wailing, and crying that went on for hours. It was genuinely disturbing. After two hours, unable to endure it any longer, my husband went to the lobby to report the issue. Instead of resolving the situation discreetly, staff called our room at 2:00 a.m. to inform us that our neighbours were “doing their best”—which woke our son! We barely got any sleep and would have been better off staying at the airport and saving the room fee.

The room was so spacious and the entire hotel looked brand new. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. The best breakfast that I ever received in any hotels. Highly recommend if you stay in London.

Great location

Couldn't beat the location. Directly across from a great pub and a cheese shop. Short walk to the cathedral. Our particular room was a bit small but we chose it for the price and they had a small sofa bed for our daughter. It was a little crowded for 3 of us but not bad. Would stay there again.

This is the third time that I have stayed at this property where they have NO RECORD of payment from hotels.com. Something is going wrong in communication between the property and hotels.com. Each time they have needed to contact managers, take additional pre-payment, significantly delayed check-in while trying to sort it out.

Excellent value for money

There was so much space in the room, which was ideal. We didn't use the kitchen facilities but it had plenty of equipment. Nice big bathroom and loads of room for our luggage as we were flying from Heathrow the next day. Staff were friendly. Only issue was we had booked for 2 adults and the 2nd bed wasn't made and we didn'thave the bedding in the room. It was brought up quickly when we called Reception.
