The hotel was close to where I wanted to visit, the amenities were clean and basic. There was limited ppwerpoints, and a USB charging point would have been good. The room card wouldn't open the front glass doors the first night but thankfully worked after. Buffet breakfast was fine, I was pleasantly surprised to see they had gluten free Cornflakes! Overall the stay was pleasant, warm and comfortable

Great location for us and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Pillows were not much chop and no spare blankets in the room but otherwise and comfortable, convenient and well priced place to stay

Good clean room very close to amenities. Room had most of what I needed- i think a toaster would have rounded off the basic amenities nicely though i can appreciate that people might end up burning things and setting off alarms!! Only downside was the tea cups were not clean- its fine that i should be cleaning what i ise during my stay but then ataff should ensure the previous guest/s cleaned the cutlery and crockery properly before putting in another guest into the space. Tea bags were also not restocked when the room was cleaned. Otherwise it is a great location and i would stay again.

Quick positive stay

While the room was lovely and well presented. The bed was firm which is good but it was basic with no pillow top at all so it just felt hard. Travelodge could learn a bit from other establishments on this. The difference in cost to them is tiny but the benefits of greater comfort would make them more attractive to stay at. We had breakfast and it was well presented, fresh and reasonably priced. The staff were excellent.

Room was not serviced properly daily, dirty plates and glasses were left each day for our entire stay and not taken or replaced. Had to call reception for new glasses. Only 1 towel refreshed at a time. had a room service call on Sunday at 9:30am, we were still sleeping so the room attendant handed us a towel and bathmat without checking what we actually needed and never came back to clean/ service the room after we had left for the day. Water in the shower would also constantly go really hot and then cold every 30 seconds during showers.

Staff are amazing but the bathroom was very dirty. Used tissues were in bedside shelves. Table legs were bent and, couch warn and sagging, mattress was two different heights of twins joined to make king and leaning to the middle. Was disappointed as this wasn’t the experience we had when we stayed here before.

This hotel is a great option if you are looking for a clean and nice hotel at a great price. My stay coincided with football and school holidays. Even though the hotel was full the service was great and the room remained quiet. I stay here whenever in Melbourne for work.
