Very good

The location on hotel.com is wrong address, we drove around the area and couldn’t find the lobby, we had to ask John to come and find us. He was so nice to guide us back to the lobby. So we could check in. GPS in this area is not very good no cell service
Great stay in one of the cozy stone lodges. We stayed just one night but we met the other people staying our lodge and had a nice get together in front of the fire in the common room. Room was very clean; bathroom has an odd configuration. You can barely open the door to get in it (why not make the door swing out??) Very reasonable rate!
The inn is gorgeous; nice restaurant and cafe.
Area was nice and plowed well during a snow event. It's also an area where my relatives, "Herberts" lived and thrived at one time in Doodletown. Lots of history for my family.
We stayed at the Overlook Lodge at Bear Mountain. It was beautiful, despite the snowy weather and cold! The main lodge was also very nice and we ate there for both dinner and breakfast.
If you stay in the Overlook Lodge, don't stay in Rm. 201. There is a nearby heavy fire door that slams shut and will not let you rest or sleep. Thankfully, we were able to move to a new room away from the door. I hope the hotel fixes that soon.
It was a nice little get away. The grounds were nice to walk around and the restaurant was very nice, We enjoyed the fireplace in the common room of the lodge. We would definitely come back.
