Unique look, comfortable and clean, some oddities

We were taken by the look of the hotel and weren't disappointed. Room was a good size and very comfortable. Plug sockets and light switches were somewhat haphazard, though, crooked and sometimes came away from the wall (and I witnessed a cleaner having the same problem in another room). Staff all friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool was a little disappointing - there is another pool only accessible to "club" members (at a cost) which I would expect to be nicer. No bar, only a restaurant at the "normal" pool. Location is a short walk from the excellent Maxwell centre, and still close to the equally excellent La Pau Sat Hawker centre (both highly recommended) and just a few steps away from the nearest MRT station with easy access to just about anywhere (and an easy, direct line to the airport). We didn't have breakfast - but I can highly recommend the Kaya toast from Coffee man across the street.

Loved our stay

We loved the Oasia! We stayed on a Club Floor, and had access to the beautiful pool and free sodas and snacks throughout the day. Free cocktails and wine in the evening! Our room was great- with comfy pillows, beds, and very nice linens. We found breakfast downstairs to be a bit better than club floor for a better variety of food- especially the Asian options. Location is so good! 5 minutes to Chinatown. Close to Lau Pa Sat hawkers center- the best!

We stayed in a club room and it was nice to have drinks and snacks a available. Room was comfortable but the bathroom is strange and cramped and could use some hooks for towels that aren't in the shower area. Hot water comes only if you turn on bathtub faucet first and must turn it to the right, not left as is common in most places.

Loved the hotel -- attractive, very visible so I could spot and find it easily. Loved fact that 12th floor (reception) and 27th (pool and restaurant) were open with terraces -- always aware of lovely tropical breezes. Great setting near Chinatown/Downtown, lots of transportation modes close by. Nicely equipped room for a wheelchair.

Excellent staff. Hotel was modern, furniture was well kept. Esthetically pleasing. Club Room and great amenities well worth the coast. Daily mini bar was good. Comfy bed. We had great views of Maxwell Food Center and Chintown. Breakfast didn’t have alot of options in the Club Lounge but the basics are there. Free cocktail hours everyday was good. Free massage everyday. Would recommend

Loved it!

I really loved this hotel! It could have been a bit cleaner but it was nothing outrageous, just some dust in the washroom. The pool is gorgeous and so are the common areas. Bed was super comfy, it was the best location and the sound proofing was good. One of the cheaper hotels we could find in Singapore and I loved that it was near Chinatown and had so much green. It was good value for the money!

Nice hotel but room for improvement

The hotel itself is very impressive on the outside and the public areas are lovely too. We stayed in the rooms on the club level. We were meant to have priority check in and check out on level 21 but it was closed on both occasions. The rooms are okay but feel like they need an update as there is wear to the bedroom furniture and also in the bathroom. The free mini bar had coconut water and iced chrysanthemum tea along with a packet of nuts and dried guava. Only the iced tea was replaced on the 2nd day. The bed is comfortable and big but the pillows weren’t great. Good soundproofing between rooms. We tried breakfast on both the level and ground floor. The quality of the food on the level seemed better than the ground floor, although there was less choice, and was less chaotic. We weren’t impressed with cocktail evening. The food was very strange and most of it was tasteless. Sliced tomato and olive sandwich!? The spicy chicken wings were nice though. The hotel is in a great location. The area is good to walk to Chinatown and also has an underground station directly across the road or the maxwell station is 10 minute walk away. There are lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
