We were provided one towel each. They were clean, but grey and threadbare. Upon request, they provided also hand towels, but no more bath towels. The hand towels had holes in them. The electrical outlet on one side of the bed was bashed in and the adapter wouldn't fit. The condition of the property is not very good at all, but it is clean and in an excellent location for tourists. We decided to stay the whole 4 days. The front desk people were helpful, especially as regards to catching a ride share as the bus stop is directly in front of the hotel and no one else can stop there. Ride share must be caught in front of the bus stop.

Staff were friendly and helpful and check in was a quick and smooth process. Hotel was about a 10 min walk from the train stations and easy to find. However, I had read previous reviews about rooms that smelt musty and mouldy, and that’s exactly what I got. I had a standard single room and it was so difficult to breathe, despite the air con being on. Staff couldn’t change my room as the hotel was fully booked, but they did come to spray air freshener, which only helped for about 5 mins. I would have gone to stay somewhere else if it wasn’t so late. Definitely unsafe for your health and lungs and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Perhaps other rooms may not be as bad, but if you get given room 407, I strongly advise you request a change! I’m just awaiting to see if I can receive any compensation for it.

The location is quite convenient for station and dining options, walkable to near popular areas. We stayed with a child room was clean and staff were helpful. Although the area was noisy at nights, the sounds were not too disturbing since we were on the third floor.

although it's a bit expensive, but it's conveniently located near the Clarke Quay area, easy to reach by metro/bus and many attractions are at walkable distance, the staff have been very helpful, the room is clean and nice but small, we paid more for a room with a window, but there's no breakfast or any amenities.

I enjoyed my short stay at the Quay Hotel, it's clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful and accomodating staff, for an English speaking foreigner there were no language barrier as the staff were multilingual. This property was within walking distance to everything I needed from the Merlion Park, Chinatown, Gardens by the bay and finish off with a visit to Lau Pa Sat...with dinner and shopping, Satay Street...a must when visiting. The entrance may appear a little surprising at first, but once you looked past it and embrace the downtown area its a lovely little nook, I truly enjoyed my time in Singapore and the comfort of the Quay Hotel.

Great location but take ear plugs!

The hotel is in a great location, we walked to Gardens by the Bay and Little India and it's very close to Chinatown area. The bed was fine but a bit creaky, room is compact but perfectly adequate and shower room was great. It's excellent value for the location, only downside is the nightclub very close by - unless you like very bad karaoke blasting out into the early hours!
