Definitely Visiting Again

Very nice service. The staff is very friendly and helpful; when I asked for recommendation for ramen restaurants, the concierge lady on shift on Sep. 10 of 2025 took 10 minutes to walk me through nearby renown ramen restaurants, and rushed to remind me some others she forgot to mention when she saw me again at the lobby later. That kind of attention wins my heart and is worth of recommendation. The garden is very pretty and is like a piece of lush valley in a bustling city. At night it is so quiet that the cicada can be heard in the rooms. Definitely to be recommended for people looking for tranquility at a place not so far from all the beauty and all the great things a cutting-edge, ultra modern city like Tokyo can offer. But since it is located on a hill in a residential area, even reaching the closest convenience store by walk will take about 10 minutes. That also implies a lot of walking uphill. Luckily there is a taxi stop in front of the hotel so you can move around in taxi if you find walking there a little challenging. It was a very nice experience.

The hotel has great view and graceful interior. But this is totally no good for kids. (Almost bad) Guests are required to be extremely quiet in all restaurants, including the breakfast restaurant. As a hotel guest, I've never experienced such an uncomfortable breakfast. It was even more so than at any other travel hotel. The Japanese breakfast restaurant, in particular, was a lot of Japanese people dressed in suits. As a person traveling with my family, I wanted a more comfortable and relaxed dining experience. The hotel rooms and service were pretty good, but overall, I think this hotel should be run as a no-kids hotel.
