We were there for the Back to the Beginning Concert after another hotel cancelled on us!!! I had tried to get twin beds instead of us cramming into a double! Was told hotel was fully booked each time I checked. On check in still the same situation, but after Steph heard my request, she later made it work!!!! Giving us the twin and a single guest a bigger double bed that he gladly accepted! So kind of her!!! Breakfast in the morning was very good and I swear the croissants were homemade!!! Some of the best I have ever had! Rooms were spotless and looked brand new! I was so concerned when I realized I booked something on a campus! But it was a great experience and a fun pub was close by! So that was great for food and a beverage at night!

Was pleasantly surprised Only thing that was a bit of an issue was parking there wasn’t any space in the hotel car park so I had to park quite away away which meant driving my car over and unloading my bags and then travelling to the car park and walking back then in reverse. And it was £13 The other thing is I kept getting lost because all of the buildings look exactly the same and it’s not well signposted . None of this is the fault of the hotel but just something to bear in mind. We will be back

Curtains were left open on a weekend everyone knew was going to be hot. On arrival my room was hotter than outside. Thankfully was a fan but not effective like air con. Restaurant closed which I wasn’t informed about until I had arrived. Found the staff didn’t want to relate authentically about these two issues. Otherwise everything was very nice

The hotel is beautiful, room was lovely, clean and comfortable the only thing was the room was very hot, could do with air con. Staff were so professional and helpful and the breakfast was yummy! I’d definitely stay again!

The check in process was smooth with no issues. Unfortunately the bar was not open when we arrived which meant we couldn't visit the on site bar as it opened after we were leaving for a concert. The lifts take a long time. The room appears fine on first glance but you can very quickly see that the carpet hasn't been hoovered. There are no hygiene covers underneath glasses and mugs which are left rim down on the surface of shelves. The water pressure of the shower and the tap is absolutely awful. It takes about 15 minutes just to have a quick wash because the water is just trickling out of the shower head. The bed is hands down the worst part about the room. It is unbelievably uncomfortable and the pillows are no better. Genuinely one of the worst beds I have slept on. There's no bottled water in the room so no provision of cold refreshments. There are tea/coffee making facilities but you would have to use the bathroom tap to fill the kettle up, something I don't personally like doing. We are on the 5th floor and it is incredibly noisy outside with clocks of birds screaching constantly. I appreciate this isn't the hotels fault and can't be helped but something to bear in mind if you're booked into a higher floor room.
