Doesn t seem like there is any one on the reception desk especially in a morning Staff not really attentive to customers but rather very chatty to each other bar was empty only us in there Told food had finished till I pointed out that the sign on the bar said pizza and chips served till 2am Outside room 001 carpet is disgusting and needs replacing it s not a very goodfirst impression when you arrive to a red carpet which is stained BLACK Breakfast area where food is should be extended it s all squashed in with to many people trying to get food Coffee from the machine is not nice, a better quality please On the whole it was an ok stay for one night Positives are free wifi parking and cooked breakfast Shower pressure and water really hot , but a larger shower head would be better i gmorning

It is a nice place to stay. Was greeted very friendly on check in and all the staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was brilliant. The room was nice and clean and tidy. Unfortunately which is out of the staffs control was other guests above us banging most of the time. When we eventually had enough we called down to reception abd they sorted it out. No more banging 😉. So yes very good experience and would most definitely come back here.

The location of the property is great, breakfast is included which is great and there is a good variety of food, rooms are big and clean. However 2 of the 3 rooms that we booked had broken air conditioning and the other room didn't have USB pots by the bedside. We are yet to receive compensation for the air con that we paid for, but didn't receive. This would put me off going to this hotel again.

We particularly chose this property because it had air conditioning and for it's location and because it is a Holiday Inn hotel. We booked 3 rooms for a family event. At check in the staff got confused because we all had the same surname and it took some time to work out who was already here and we had to confirm the book reference to prove that 3 rooms had been booked. This was sorted though and rooms were found for us. However, despite being advertised as having air conditioning it was only in 1 room that it was working! When we enquired about this we were told that the engineer had been called a few weeks ago, but they were still waiting for them to arrive! They couldn't move us to other rooms because they were already over booked!! We have complained to the company and are hoping for compensation as we were misold rooms. The rooms are clean, nice and large and the beds comfortable. There are very few plugs and there should be USB points by the bedside, but these were missing in one on the rooms and we were told that head office only provide a limited number each week, not enough for a whole hotel! Some of the seats in the rooms are a bit grubby and desk chairs appear to be missing from some rooms. We've not had breakfast yet, so I hope that's great. At least there's air conditioning in the dining area! It just leaves me with lots of questions about the company and doubt as to whether we will stay in this hotel again.

Staff very friendly, room was very large. Beds comfortable. Air conditioning wasn’t working so a fan was provided but not very good and road outside was too noisy to have the window open. Lots of things not available on the menu in the evening. Breakfast nice, lots of choice. Convenient location to Star city and Birmingham centre.

I was very pleased to find a hotel for an overnight stay in Birmingham, given that most hotels were fully booked due to the Black Sabbath farewell concert in the city and other music celebrities performing this week. Fabulous staff 😁

The staff were really fab our taxi was booked for us and arrived on time. Our taxi home was easy to organise thanks to the hotel staff. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and area was cleared very quickly. Our room was nice, maybe just needs a double check for little things like cobwebs. But overall was very lovely.

Very handy for one night stay, from where we took Uber cab to Utilitia arena for a concert. Room could do with upgrade to mobile phone charging sockets. Excellent incuded breakfast.
