Overal our 3night stay was very good ,the view from our hotel room was fantastic looking over the sea , we did not use the facilities at The Grand but they looked clean and elegant and me and my girlfriend had a lovely time so Thankyou ! We parked our car in the hotel car park and had no problems at all so it was safe ! On the downside sorry was that the hotel was quite a walk from the main area but the walk was really nice and the trams ran every 10 mins so Thats a big plus ! We are very pleased we stayed at The Grand Hotel Blackpool and will definitely come back ! Thank you . Gary + Tracey .

Severely understaffed through hotel, they had to close the residents bar early so the staff could go behind another bar at wedding function, they shouldn’t have booked in so many guests if not enough staff , poor show.

Curtains in the room didn’t fit the window. There was a farmers meeting on and the hotel was full of young people running through the corridors all night, kicking footballs around and screaming . The car park and entrance is full of litter.

Lovely hotel! Spacious rooms, big comfy beds, coffee and tea and wash facilities excellent! Fantastic pool extremely clean excellent breakfast! We needed milk at night for a child and they got us some from the kitchen brilliant service!

Dont stay

Absolutely terrible. So unclean and run down. The bath was so dirty it wanted putting in a skip. No bulbs in lights and the bedside lamps were rusty. Bar was shut at first and when it opened they gad no stock. Disgrace off a hotel.

We had a room with a disabled bathroom... very tired and the whole room flooded when in the shower so any items of clothing etc got very wet! The hotel reception looks nice but the rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. The bed was comfy and clean so that was a bonus!

The car park was full of litter this hotel looked like a prison from the car park noisey corridors and cleanliness on the grounds followed into the room very unpleasant stay

Big improvement at this hotel in last few months. Room was warm and comfortable. Coffee machine provided. The Grand was a pleasant stay. Onsite parking at a charge of £7 although states left at owners risk.

Disappointing

We booked this hotel instead of a cheap room at Travelodge because it has a pool and we wanted to go swimming. 2 out of 3 of the lifts was not working and as you can imagine its such a big hotel it took forever to wait for a lift to go up or down. At one point we got in the lift and a woman was closing the lift doors by hand because they kept sticking and wouldnt close. In the morning we woke up and had breakfast which was bog standard rubbery english breakfast, hardly any fruit selection or cereal. As we were getting ready to go swimming we was informed by reception that the pool was closed that day as the staff had not bothered to come in, so we was highly disappointed should have just booked the travelodge and saved ourself some money!
