Very nice . Staff went above and beyond for our stay. Lovely clean room . Parking on site in underground carpark , easy to park . Asked for extra pillows and quilt and nothing was to much for them . The breakfast is well worth the money , freshly cooked omelettes, pancakes and eggs!
Amazing selection of cooked, fresh fruit , pastries and Continental as well as cereals . So much choice , even down to coffee, lattes etc…. Thankyou all at the holiday Inn .. we will definitely be returning!

Staffs were friendly. Check-in too late, we were told check-in available at 4:00 p.m. because the room was not ready.
We were given a room with a door to an adjoining room that was not sound insulated, the windows were filthy, the net curtain was brown with dirt and the mattress was uncomfortably hard. The only lift that worked was very slow. The location was good.
It was a good stay. Staff are generally helpful, breakfast was good. Rooms maybe slightly dated but very clean and generally good. Great view from entrance
Booked the holiday because of a race the next day; so comfortable bed and air conditioning critical in August.
Arrived a/c not working.
When we highlighted this, best they could do was rusty fan that plugged into a socket, that yep you guessed didn’t work.
Oh, and they sneakily double charged us for car parking.
Very tired shabby hotel. Only one lift working which was infuriating . Room smelt of smoke, curtains and windows filthy generally shabby and in need of refresh and a good clean. Breakfast looked uninspiring do ate out.
Breakfast was good & calm atmosphere, staff very friendly, nice atmosphere in hotel, family room good size , beds were very comfy, hotel felt spacious , lift to car park not working and foyer was nicely decorated. We had a lovely stay!

The cupboard under the 'dressing table needs the door hinges sorting out, the window would not close completely and there is a leak top left hand corner of the window. Obviously a nice hotel but starting to look a bit tired
The reception staff and service were great. Even though we were there during Brighton Pride and it was very busy, they were excellent. Recommended and will be back next year. Thank you

The air condition not working properly ... when we check in the room not ready for us ,, we need another bed so we wait for 5 hours to sorted out
Staff were very good downstairs on the front desk and the two bars very good.
The hotel is old and shows there was only one lift working when we arrived and it sounded dangerous . Second lift was then back on line which was better . Air con in the hotel could not keep up with the hit weather and demand. Carpets in room were stained and the window handles falling off, the hotel needs updating to still deserve the 4 star rating . Staff were very good though had were taking the brunt of the hotel needing a facelift / makeover.

The hotel is going through a refurb on the lifts. The working lift very noisy and unsafe sounding and the works being done look awful in the lobby area. Lady at reception very vacant. No apology for no one manning the desk for a good 5 minutes. Room very average. Had a portable fan as no air conditioning. The stay done the job, nice shower in the morning and left, just needed a bed. Wanted cider but one bar had run out so had to go to the other bar, inconvenient to the customer. Not much else to say.
