I became aware about an hour after arrival that I was not alone! A large mouse ran across my floor. No phones in the room., so I went downstairs to reception. Reception said yeah sorry we get a lot of that here. Its an old building! I was offered another room but they couldn't promise it was mouse free. So I legged it., to a Travel lodge! The room an an executive King room, not cheap at £116. And they've still charged me. Avoid at all costs

Hotel Staf receptionist is not friendly I have cash and I say I need break fast they refuse my money and I say please the bank is closed 7•am they say no

A great little find!

Very impressed and satisfied with stay - building has a lot of character, service has been fine for whole of stay, decently positioned to get around the city. For a budget stay, I would absolutely recommend this spot, and hope to use them again.

Don’t bother

Room was dirty and needed freshening up. Shower was cold. People had been smoking in the room before us as there was a heavily filled cigarette bowl outside the window. Bed was comfortable but we got no sleep due to the walls being like paper and the person next door screaming down the phone until 5am unfortunately was then work at 8:30 to the fire alarm going off. Would not be staying again.

Lovely hotel, all great but room had portable heaters, radiators not working or connected, not sure. Room very cold when we arrived, did heat up ok but surprised no proper heating in room was deluxe room too. Bed super comfy and I’m very fussy!
