Had to cancel my room as had a funeral to attend , got a email telling me I can’t have refund but can move my stay to future date … when after 3 days of trying to ring hotel to book a further stay, they said no .. also asking me to cancel room so they could re book out …. meaning double money on room which I refused to cancel

What a wonderful stay! The hotel was central to everything in Bristol, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was roomy and very comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

Don’t stay here

Air conditioning wasn’t working. Provided two fans, dusty. Bathroom - best part of the room Cleanliness - sub standard. Looked clean but was itching for two days straight. There were two spiders. Room didn’t have air con so was stuffy with no diffuser available Service - sub optimal.

Very noisy at night - thin walls, local vagrants shouting and swearing, car park doors jammed, car park lift not working, slow and inefficient check-in and check out, had to move rooms as extractor fan noisy and couldn’t be turned off, food poor choice in restaurant, stayed there twice and seems to have deteriorated- plus side - close to registry office for weddings

First time staying here . Receptionist was very helpful . I stayed in a compact room 152/. The bedroom needs complete refurbishing. Carpet was extremely stained in many places . Walls need repainting as lots of marks on them . Mis match of bedside tables . Washbasin needs changing as enamel coming off around the plug hole . Sheets on bed weren’t very soft . Thankfully only saying for one night .

We found after reading other reviews that our original booking of a compact double, we upgraded to a privilege double. Room size was good, however, it looked very industrial and not to our liking. The bathroom size was good, but toilet was very, very close to the door! No storage drawers in a room of this size was a shock for us ( maybe we are being picky? ) We also read poor reviews about the car park security and decided to park elsewhere. Overall, hotel was good, but, not what we expected.

Solo elderly traveller.

Room very dark even after the bulkhead bulb was replaced. Also the coffee machine wasn’t plugged in and the socket was behind the cupboard so I couldn’t reach it. I’ve had softer beds.
