good for short stay

Very close to Temple Meads Station. Good bus connections. The hotel is fine for a short stay but no more. The room was clean though i found the bed not to my liking. Breakfast good

Felt welcomed and comfortable. Tv didn’t work but a team member checked the power and then the remote and eventually replaced the Tv. Very quick and efficient. As I walk with a stick a staff member helped load my breakfast plate and on the second day remembered what I chose the previous day and asked if I wanted the same. Very helpful indeed.

Very poor experience

The 5am fire alarm was less than ideal, and of course this was totally out of the control of the hotel. What was totally unacceptable though was the total lack of hot water! No hot water for a shower was awful and inexcusable. The bar/ lounge area was very shabby.

The staff were amazing! They were very welcoming and helpful. My sister and I got stuck without transportation back to the hotel and the staff made sure a taxi came to pick us up. We were greeted each time we entered the reception area and always had cheerful help if we needed it. Thank you for a pleasant and comfortable stay. You are doing a great job! Loved the hot breakfast each morning and the pizza and drinks in the evening.

Nice hotel i had room 105. The guests in 107 had no respect for other residents. They were loud, swearing and playing music until 9.30pm. They then went out returning at 4.30am. Shouting swearing playing loud music until 7am when i assume they fell asleep. I was exhausted. I did mention to reception when i checked out at 9am. They said they would speak to the guests!!! Which was a little too late!!!

Over all the room was adequate and was clean. The shower drain did not flow very fast which meant that you were standing in dirty water very quickly. The cooked breakfast was also of poor quality. It had been cooked many hours in advance and was not fresh.

Friendly stay

Love staying at this hotel but unfortunately we paid for a twin room but got a double - my friend was on a camp bed! We did have a voucher for 1 drink but still found it unacceptable considering we booked months ago. Staff were friendly and clearly enjoyed their work. Overall was a pleasant stay
