Very nice hotel in the city centre. The staff is nice. We had a nice room on the 11th floor. The only slide negative (but we didn’t ask) is that there was a bath tube rather than a shower with low entry. That’s prügelt preference.

It’s OK
Location good, 10 minutes walk to harbour and shops.
Beds really comfortable, remember to take phone charge adapter as well as lead. More thought into room layout needed with regards to mirrors and sockets etc. breakfast decent enough.
Parking £20 per day and is gated and secure but not many spaces so you need to prebook.
Booked the 17th floor suite. Was very excited for the stay. However this excitement was soon burst after seeing the state of the room. Furniture was full of chips and marks, wall paper peeling from the wall, stains on the chairs and sofas. Thick dust on top of the wardrobe (which could easily be seen when walking down the internal stairs). Hand rail on the stairs was loose, it had also previously been repaired but a patch job rather than solving the issue. AC vent on the floor was loose and sticking up. I stubbed my toe on this during the night.
Overall, very disappointing. Especially given the amount I spent for just 1 night!
The hotel is in an excellent position and we had a large room with a good view. The problem was that it was too hot in our room even with the fan on all day and night
It was uncomfortable and unpleasant. Also for an expensive room we had no fridge and were only given two mini cartons of milk and had to keep asking for more
Finally the check in took half an hour as there was just one person on reception and six people in front of us. I thought the standard was poor for a superiorly graded hotel.
