This was the first time I stayed at this hotel and will not be the last. I brought a group over from the States for their first trip to Europe. Check in was easy, the staff was polite and professional. We included the breakfast. There was a great selection of fresh, colorful food for all palates. Easy to get to the center of London but so nice to get back to the hotel and the river. Some excellent restaurants in walking distance. Looking forward to going back again next year.

Staff on arrival wasn’t welcoming. Room was ok. However stains on carpets. Empty packets in the bed side table and cup stains on the table/bed side table. Cleanliness was below average for an hotel of this standard. No tv remote for the TV. Over all, would off been better to stay at the premier inn.

Nice breakfast, good cooked English breakfast and continental breakfast available, however, this was less varied. Bar and drinks were nice. Pool is nice but gets very busy during the day, and has a steam room and sauna, so lots of facilities. Good location for Cloud cable car and O2 arena. Room was clean and turned over daily, however, we were let down during our 10th anniversary weekend as had booked specially but nothing was organised and miscommunication with staff/hotel management whom promised a token but this occurred. Overall, good hotel and chain, and with more care and attention could be very good.

We moved rooms as the first room had an issue with the carpet. Our room was spacious and clean but there was a smell coming from the shower room which I noticed in the room we had moved from too. There could possibly be a drainage issue on that side of the hotel. Most of the reception staff were polite and courteous. Table allocation for breakfast needs to be better with some kind of indication that a table has been allocated despite all the occupants lining up to get breakfast. I would stay here again but hope they sort out the drainage and table allocation issues. The hotel is in a good location and as mentioned before, the majority of the staff are lovely and welcoming.

Nice hotel overall. Window didn’t close in our room, slight smell of sewage in the bathroom in the evening and Tv didn’t work very well (not that we really needed it). Breakfast lovely, used the pool which was nice and everywhere was clean, staff polite. Perfect location for what we needed.

The water in the ool was opaque. I could not see underwater at all despite wearing goggles. I was worried it was dirty. However it didn't smell or seem dirty. I expect to be able to see. I wish there hadn't been a swimming lesson in the pool . It's too small for that. Glad there were towels. Restaurant. I do not expect to be charged for water. £1.50 no chance. My poke said was superb as was my panko halloumi but it was huge portion even for me. Not enough chilli sauce. Love the porridge in the mornings but poor selection of jam. Scrambled egg tasted like it has cream in it. Some might like that, I don't. Sausages and bacon clearly high quality. Very nice breakfast. Not enough selection in the evening meal.

A really nice hotel. Super convenient for events at Excel. Staff are wonderful, especially Elizabet who helped me combine two bookings together so my extension to my original booking resulted in me staying in the same room. Breakfast staff are fantastic too!
