This is a great hotel close to a lot of things, the rooms are micro sized, however. But there are a lot of public areas where you can stretch out and relax.

Clean and very friendly staff, everyone was so nice. When you walk in there’s a Starbucks in the corner and lobby is beautiful. Would not stay again because the rooms are old and outdated. No microwave in any room, what’s so ever. Brought some pizza back and couldn’t eat it. Very old tv, it looks like a microwave. We got put in the wrong room but didn’t complain because we didn’t really mind even though the bed was smaller then what we paid for. Dock parking- 4day parking with hotel discount, $180 total.

We loved everything about this property. So much so it will most assuredly be our go-to hotel when we visit NYC. HIGHLY recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Civilian Hotel—it was the perfect choice for our first time in New York. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special, and the team really went out of their way to make my fiancé’s birthday unforgettable. The views from the hotel are incredible, giving you that classic New York skyline feel. There’s a fantastic bar downstairs with live jazz that created such a great atmosphere in the evenings, and the rooftop bar with a DJ set was the perfect place to celebrate. What really stood out was the staff—always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay as a couple. Highly recommend!
