Very big hotel with lots of facilities that includes swimming pool, spa, gym, 500 car parking, restaurant and bars, etc. value for money and it’s close to the city centre with about 10 min drive. Very big room with king size beds, bath and shower facility with really big windows. Breakfast buffet has hot and cold including Continental options
Not so good unfortunately. We have stayed previously but feel standards have slipped. Firstly we booked 2 superior rooms - only one was superior- when questioned we were told it was correct however it was not. This left one side of the family with a less quality room - no fridge needed for medications and specialised milk. The first 2 days the temperature in the hotel was very cold and the service in the food bar very slow the first evening - 3 hours we waited for a meal - made worse by the fact we were all really cold and many of our choices were unavailable! We asked repeatedly for the air con to be turned off and were ignored! The second evening we booked for the Marco Pierre White restaurant and were greeted with a long list of what wasn’t available. Many disgruntled customers were in some leaving without having their meals. An hour and a half wait in the cold and our food in fairness was lovely when it arrived. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for dessert and were desperate to get out to get warm! The 3rd evening was warmer and quicker service in the bar however a reduced menu and still items not available off that! My niece did not eat as there was nothing available she could eat due to her allergies. Breakfast all 3 mornings was great and staff were attentive.
When paying a lot for the hotel it’s disappointing that access to the pool is limited to 1 1 hour slot a day. We come away to be able to enjoy these facilities so more access to them would be better.
Everything was the way it should be. Very friendly staff, nice pool and gym, comfortable beds, clean room and of course delicious breakfast!

good hotel, the only issue we found was, we asked for items in our room such as travel cot for our baby, but this was not in the room on arrival even after getting it confirmed to us via phone and email. hotel was nice and spa was nice. quiet hotel, and quiet location.

Lovely hotel snd exceptionally clean . Rooms very spacious and extremely comfortable beds and bedding . Good choice of bars and restaurants however not enough staff to serve efficiently.
Meh. Very tired hotel, pictures are hugely deceiving. Emailed me 4/5 days before staying saying you needed to book the pool and gave an email address.. Emailed them and heard nothing back.. Check in and indeed, you have to book, it’s a good job they had availability! Rooms are very tired and look nothing like the pictures really. The jacuzzi was broken and about half the lights in the pool area all didn’t work. When putting the DND sign on the door, I found someone’s room service order from over 6 months ago.. Took it to the front desk on check out to politely let them know and they were just like ‘ok’ .. Seemed like it was just totally normal, no sorry or anything. Wouldn’t return. Good sleep though, I’ll give them that and a comfy bed!
