Rather disappointing... even for a budget hotel!

An under-invested in hotel decor-wise hotel, with functional rooms... that leave you with a sense of disappointment, even for a branded-as-budget hotel. Won't be stopping again - other hotels closer to City Centre offer better facilities / options... at a similar price.

Ok, good for the price

A good hotel for what we needed - hotel was clean with bed and shower. Check-in was overly complicated- we had a group booking and were emailed the day before to make the process quicker. It took over 30mins to get 12 of us checked in. Room was small but clean. Shower small and either boiling hot or freezing cold. Blackout blinds worked well and the hotel was quiet. Never got the WiFi to work, but breakfast was ok as a continental option. The price was excellent for what we got though so cannot complain.

Great location, near bus station, central. Staff friendly and helpful. Surprisingly quiet considering location. Rooms were compact, clean and perfect for an overnight stay. A kettle / hairdryer would have been useful.
