Nice hotel. Breakfast replenishment needs to be more frequent, especially as guests are busy in the morning. I had so much luggage and the wonderful Charlie helped me with it. A lovely human, the hotel is lucky to have him

Nice hotel for the cost. Great shower and comfy spacious room. Issues were that the room wasn’t done up over the 4 night stay even though we left the sign on the door, the shower although great leaked all over the bathroom and the even though I have a fear of lifts there were no stairs as an option. The staff didn’t even know where the stairs were!

Positives: front-of-house staff were friendly, breakfast was good and overall the hotel was attractive and clean. Our room was overlooking the hotel interior so lovely and quiet - though I prefer some natural light. Love the water bottle refilling stations on each floor - we really needed them (see below) Room for improvement: some areas of inattention in maintenance and housekeeping. All the soap/shower gel dispensers were empty on our arrival, so we had to ask for them to be filled, and tea/coffee in the room was not replenished the whole four nights. The bathroom radiator was leaking and had obviously been doing so for some time. One of the bedside lights was missing so only one person could see to read at night. I asked about getting another but nothing happened. Mattresses and pillows were on the hard side. One day one of our pillows mysteriously disappeared from the room and we had fo ask for its return. Biggest gripe was the climate control, which kept defaulting to a temperature that was too warm, was impossible to turn off and noisy. The air was so dry we were constantly thirsty and waking up with scratchy eyes. On two mornings the restaurant ran out of all bread and pastry options except sliced for toast, half way through service. Niggles like this all make a difference and mostly shouldn't be hard to put right without guests needing to ask.

We have stayed at Dorsett Shepherds Bush just for one night and it was our second stay at this hotel and we would definitely be back again. The hotel has a very friendly and helpful staff and the bar area is very enjoyable. The rooms are of a good size and clean and in good working order and the bed is very comfy for a good night sleep. The area the hotel is located was very convenient for us to attend a concert (walking distance to both Exhibition White City and Eventim Apollo) and there is a lot of highly rated pubs and restaurants nearby to choose from. We both very much like the hotel and will be returning again, so definitely recommend it.

I received a complimentary upgrade, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is very stylish, the rooms are nicely appointed. The staff are very attentive and polite, showing a great mix of warmth and professionalism. The only downside to the room that I was allocated was the slight damp smell which emanated from where the shower obviously leaked slightly over a period of time and had discoloured the wood of the door frame to the bathroom. The hotel is located perfectly for two different train stations, lots of convenience stores and quite a few different places to eat. I would gladly stay here again.

Comfortable stay, good breakfast

Bedroom was clean - although the bathroom looked ready for an update. Very little natural light, as the window looked out into the lobby atrium. Decent facilities in the room (mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, safe, kettle), and the air conditioning worked well. Some issues with the TV, primarily with the remote control. Also had to ask for extra tea bags in our room when we first arrived because there was only a couple of herbal teabags and no coffee. Great breakfast, though, with a good selection of options. Perhaps most importantly, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well.

There were no pillow cases on the pillows. I wanted to go to sleep but couldnt with no pillowcases. I phoned reception - very difficult to get anyone to answer. When someone finally did, they promised the pillow cases would be brought to my room within 10 minutes. Half an hour later I rang reception again to say they hadn’t arrived. Took about 15 minutes to get an answer. Again they promised to bring the pillowcases. 45 mins later, nothing had arrived. I went down to reception and only then, 1 hour and a quarter after requesting, did I finally get the pillowcases. There was no handwash for the sink. And no complimentary teabags, only coffee. Dirty marks on carpet and on bathroom flooe
