Underwhelmed

Rooms are very dated. Needs to be refurbished. I overheard another guest complaining about a staff member entering his room whilst he was in the room with his wife! Didn’t feel safe after that as the lock in my room was broken. Chose this hotel for convenience as I was attending a function at the same location. I wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

Nice hotel with good decor. In-house caterer can provide indian room-service meals which are tasty. Convenient location if driving, or a 10-20 minute walk from restaurants and shops. Parking can be very tricky during events.

Noisy neighbours or no soundproofing?!

When I checked in I was sent to a room which hadn't been made up, but this was quickly changed for me to a room on the next floor. The people in the room opposite woke me up at midnight, coming in and out of the room, and talking in their room. I'm not sure if the wall and doors are incredibly thin but I could hear every word of their conversation, and I don't think they were talking particularly loudly. By 2.30 I resorted to listening to white noise on my phone to try to get to sleep, I had to be up at 5 am! I spoke to reception the next day, and that night there was silence so all was good.

I couldn’t recommend this location.

I had three rooms booked for four nights. I arranged to fly home early and my family only stayed for two nights. The floor carpets were ripped. Bins were left dismantled and cleaning products left on the floor. Room dishes (mugs/cups for the kettle) were unclean. One room had water. Two rooms didn’t have water. There was a hallway diffuser that was overwhelming.

Great Staff, and An Easy, Cozy Stay :)

The staff was very helpful and the room was cleaned well, the buffet offered for the mronings was pleasant. It was easy to navigate in the hotel and the staff were very helpful with whatever we needed. Would recommend!

Lovely room. Clean. Lovely bathroom. No lock on the door. You need a key card to get in but you can’t lock it from the inside. Staff are pleasant but not welcoming. Main desk wasn’t always manned. Short answers not very receptive for reception
