Everything was good apart from the noise outside that started at 1.30 am till about 3.30am unloading and loading of trucks

Our stay was terrible. On our first night we could not sleep due to extremely uncomfortable pillows that could not be even classed as pillows. The air conditioning unit is also very load and makes the bathroom walls vibrate. Also the noise from the very busy industrial estate the hotel is based in. On the 2nd night we were kept awake until nearly 3am with a very load Television in the next room because the walls are paper thin. Overall not a very nice experience.

My room was next to a dumpster company, they made a lot of noise early in the morning.I could not sleep well after a long trip. Room 221 should not be rental out on Nobody…. Not even a dog! The noise is too much, especially early in the morning.

Don’t stay here, I know you get what you pay for but this place is a dump… The location is acceptable provided you are aware that this is an industrial area but one would think that they would have the drive to ensure that the guests would have a pleasant experience but this is miles away from that !!! - Service levels are very poor, room not cleaned and then asked to take towels our selves and wait till the morning as the cleaners have gone home. - AC does not work in most rooms, had 2 rooms and changed rooms but AC did not work even in the new room. - Parking at the hotel a major issue, advertising for parking being available but none is there as too many events are going on at the location.

Staff were all warm and welcoming, and the room was nice. The aircon in the room worked very well as did the shower in the bathroom, but the only downsides were the uncomfortable pillows and the lack of soundproofing in the rooms.

beautiful hotel inside

Saw the hotel was in an industrial estate and my heart sank. However, everything changed once we'd entered it. Very polite staff, excellent service, very clean rooms and beautiful breakfast room.

Underwhelmed

Rooms are very dated. Needs to be refurbished. I overheard another guest complaining about a staff member entering his room whilst he was in the room with his wife! Didn’t feel safe after that as the lock in my room was broken. Chose this hotel for convenience as I was attending a function at the same location. I wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

Nice hotel with good decor. In-house caterer can provide indian room-service meals which are tasty. Convenient location if driving, or a 10-20 minute walk from restaurants and shops. Parking can be very tricky during events.

Noisy neighbours or no soundproofing?!

When I checked in I was sent to a room which hadn't been made up, but this was quickly changed for me to a room on the next floor. The people in the room opposite woke me up at midnight, coming in and out of the room, and talking in their room. I'm not sure if the wall and doors are incredibly thin but I could hear every word of their conversation, and I don't think they were talking particularly loudly. By 2.30 I resorted to listening to white noise on my phone to try to get to sleep, I had to be up at 5 am! I spoke to reception the next day, and that night there was silence so all was good.
