Basic, but clean and convenient

The Hotel is in walking distance to Troxy which was great benefit. Room was basic, but clean. It is worth noting that some repairs took place and it was rather noisy and overall soundproofing was not great as we could hear (unfortunately very clearly) our neighbours next door getting frisky which was a bit awkward. Also the accessible door downstairs is always open (you don’t even need a card to enter) which compromises safety. But overall it was good for what it was, it was clean and staff were nice and polite.

Very happy stay

I was very happy. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. My room was immaculately clean and had everything I needed. The complimentary breakfast had so many options and was very tasty.

A brilliant place to stay

The staff at the Holiday Inn, couldn't be more helpful. The ladies of the front desk and serving as bar staff 1st and 2nd March made the stay with my daughter very comfortable. I would return there again based on the staff alone. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was filling and varied. The staff were helpful in guidance to our venue ( The Troxy) for the evening. It made us feel safer getting there and back. They really couldn't do enough for us. Exeptional service.

3 night birthday treat

Overall the stay was very good, the staff were very helpful and professional. Had one hiccup with an evening meal but this was resolved and refunded. In my opinion there is a lot of room for improvement regarding evening meals, maybe introduce puddings on the menu. Would definitely stay again. A big thank you to the staff especially Iara who went above and beyond. Good location for getting around London.

Awful!!!!!

Not a great stay at all, won't ever be back here. When we checked in the lady sent us around the back for parking which was not there so ended up driving around London in the end, there was no parking so we come back to the hotel and parked on the side which the other lady said was ok, I paid the parking fee & 7am the following morning the front desk lady was ringing my room saying for me to move my car as it was blocking a road which was not the case(she should of told me this when checking in & saying it was ok to park there) Another thing is the work noise around was awful. Terrible stay.

amazing service, friendly and helpful staff, big room, clean bathroom which is usable by 2 people at once, good shower. big tv with satellite and bluetooth connection, comfortable bed, plenty of storage space and multiple mirrors, a desk space. overall very happy and would definitely recommend ans woukd stay again.

It's not a closed building site. Scary arrival.

It was awful to arrive late at night at what looked like a closed hotel building site. Other guests were outside distressed, thinking the hotel was shut down. Luckily, a passerby told us about the side entrance, down a litter strewn alleyway. Much bigger signage is needed to guide guest especially those arriving after dark. The hotel should also have send an email warning guests so we were are. Not doing so speaks volumes about a lack of consideration, especially to women travelling alone who might find this scene on arrival very unnerving. Once inside, Reception staff was efficient but rather cool - not addressing multiple guests' shock at the entrance is not the way to inspire confidence, even if it's not the staff's fault and they are sick of hearing about it (which was the impression I got). Once inside the room it was a lovely room, despite the view of scaffolding... See photos for the view and putiside in daylight (which is less scary than when you arrive in the dark)

Great choice

Really nice hotel, clean and well decorated, comfy beds. The staff were lovely, the let us leave pur bags while we were out and about. The breakfast was very nice as well.

Second time here but never again. Was not advised when I booked that the hotel was under major construction. Upon arrival poor signage to find the hotel entrance. Management said that was thw contractors fault.The bar services were limited. We moved rooms due to the noise. BUT the management stepped up with a perk. Two free drinks total for a 4 day stay- that was the ultimate insult.
