I am writing to express my disappointment with the initial room I was assigned. The room had a strong, unpleasant odor, and the floor was noticeably sticky. After realizing the odor did not dissipate, I requested a room change. Unfortunately, I was informed that no alternative would be available until 3:00 PM. This situation was quite uncomfortable and caused me to experience a headache throughout the morning.
When I was finally moved, the new room was significantly better — cleaner and up to an acceptable standard.
I thought the way the Hotel was presented and the small garden area at the front of the Hotel was very ordinary with weeds and poor visual aspects of the Hotel made it look like a 1 star rated Hotel
The boxspring under mattress sat directly on the floor and was FILTHY!!! Bathroom door handle broken and bathroom door would not even open completely. Could not close window, heat was nonexistent. Elevators were a crapshoot if they would even work. Outside of building full of weeds, looks of total neglect.
The price was very convenient, so if you're not looking for the most luxury stay, I recommend this.
I was here for eight nights, I didn't stay a lot in the room, and when I did it was mostly for sleeping.
So it fitted me very well.
Hotel lived up to the rubbish reviews
It’s cheap and deservedly so
Really uncomfortable beds with springs sticking through the mattress
Bathroom falling apart
Even the reception area is Grim and dirty
But not complaining though, for £50 we paid to crash after evening at the football and then on the town it’s perfect cheap way to spend a fun night in London
Nice hotel does what you need it to do if your just there for a night or two and need somewhere to sleep....
Small rooms but has everything you need...
Could benefit from some modern decor a splash of colour everything a little bland and dated...
The room was clean and tidy nice clean bedding, not too noisy as i was staying around the back close to the pub ,for a cheep stay in an exspensive city was perfect for one night stay.
I paid less than £70 for a hotel in Kensington, so didn’t expect a lot and my expectations were met. You get what you pay for, a bed a shower and a locking door. Nothing more nothing less!
