Check in took longer than necessary because just one person was at the reception. The room was a regular sized room with a sofa bed. it was tight, almost dingy and at the end of a long corridor overlooking dirty roofs.

Overall my five nights stay in this hotel was great and will be back since my family lives there. Location is excellent. Front desk staff needed to be more patient. I have prepaid all my nights in the hotel with a third party. The lady in the front insisted that it was not prepaid, charged my husband's credit card. When I went downstairs to clarify with my bank statement and my paid invoices she still insisted that I was wrong. A gentleman called Philip came and within 5 seconds he said I have already paid through a third party. Philip acted very professionally and he apologized for her errors.

Perfect!

Great hotel and all the staff were so lovely. We arrived early and our room was ready as we were offered online check in which was great! Perfect location for shopping and great places to eat on the doorstep. Will definitely be staying here again

Let down by poor communication from staff.

Would have been 5 stars if it weren’t for the conflicting and unhelpful messages given by staff. We asked in the bar at exactly 10pm if room service was available to which they said look on the tv for menu and ring down with your order, on looking at tv info on menu said served until 1030 pm on ringing reception at 10:07 and was answered about 10 minutes later and was informed by reception room serviced stopped at 10 and hung up on. Which left us rather unimpressed. The location was great and very quiet for where it was. Breakfast was nice but not the best I’ve had by a long way and slightly overpriced for an additional £20 each.

This hotel is in a perfect location - very central to the shops, restaurants and bars. It is a beautiful hotel and we would definitely return, however, two things stopped us from rating it as 5 stars. The first was a member of the reception staff (normally situated on the screen at the end of reception close to the lifts). She didn't crack a smile once and could barely bring herself to make eye contact. It almost made you feel uncomfortable if you had to approach her for anything. The rest of the reception staff, however, were great, very helpful and accommodating. The second complaint was the breakfast that we paid £50 for. The food was tepid at best, it may have helped if the plates were warm but we ate hardly any of it. We did speak to one of the staff about it who said she would pass it onto the kitchen staff but whether anything changes is probably unlikely. Save yourself the extortionate price and go and eat in one of the many restaurants that surround this otherwise, lovely hotel.

Great location but our view was not good

When we arrived we advised that we were celebrating my husband birthday and we got upgraded. The view wasn't good and there were no moisturiser. Also we were given one free breakfast and the breakfast was very good
