Hotel was very clean, our room was spotless. This place is like no other with pictures and Knick-knacks covering every space,, always something to look at. The rooms are themed, we had George Orwell and must admit the lights made from CCTV cameras by the bed did take a little getting used to. Breakfast was lovely but would be better if cooked food was kept hotter, which did let it down a little. I would return here if visiting again, tube station is about 7 minutes walk away.

One of the most unique hotels we have ever been. Very original, charming, you feel like you are transported to another universe for a moment. Moreover the rooms were really modern and clean, much better than on the pictures. I recommend this place, truely a hidden gem 5 stars +++

Wow! What a little gem this hotel is! This hotel has so much character, an incredible amount of decor and nik naks but is also spotlessly clean! What a feat that must be. Staff were so friendly, food was absolutely incredible. A very different but incredible breakfast. It was my birthday when we stayed and they surprised me with a lovely note and delicious slice of the best cheesecake ive ever eaten. We would stay here again 100%! The rooms were spotless and the hotel was only a 7 minute (easy) walk away from the local DLR station.

This is an accommodation priding itself on being a unique, family owned experience. The staff is outstanding and plentiful. On London’s east side, and close to the old dock district -close to the river, and a nice longish walk to the Tower district. Highly recommend.

The moment we walked in to the hotel we knew it wasn’t going to be like any of our previous trips! It’s very in your face and eccentric. But not in a bad way at all! It was so much more fun than the other corporate boring hotels that you find across other parts of London! The staff were very friendly and attentive. And I was a little worried about the train lines outside our room but we hardly realised they were there! Room was great. Fantastic selection on the television which is rare. Bed comfy bathroom clean and tidy. And the buffet breakfast is easily one of the best we have ever had! This was also very well priced for a hotel in London. Definitely be coming back. If you want a different kind of experience you should try it out 😁

Nice hotel, has good history and decor, was told or is advertised as parking available near the hotel but couldn’t find any that didn’t require a permit, the hotel suggested parking is £10 taxi ride each way plus parking charges, was giving a room with a train line literally outside the window, but was when moved when asked no problem
