I had a very disappointing stay at London City Airport Hotel. Check-in took far longer than it should have, and my room had no hot water in the shower. We raised these issues at checkout, but were told to contact Hotels.com directly.
When Hotels.com followed up with the property, the hotel claimed no complaint had been made. We then contacted the hotel ourselves, but staff refused to provide the name of the receptionist during our stay, refused to let us speak to a manager, and even refused to say when a manager would be available (which tells me everything I need to know).
Overall, the combination of poor service, unresolved issues, and lack of accountability made this a very frustrating experience.
I strongly, strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
