Hotel was clean, room in good condition and breakfast was varied and nice. However, when we arrived they said that our room was not available and we would be transferred to a sister hotel, which we disputed. They agreed and found us a room, however there was a damp smell in the room and in the morning when we awoke a foul smell could be smelled from the bathroom, as if something had leaked, but we did not find a leak anywhere. Otherwise the room was clean, tidy, well equipped, nice shower etc. Staff was also friendly. It was just considering the price we had to pay we wouldnt have expected that smell from the room.

love park plaza and location, the room had a clogged shower as it wouldn’t drain easier and would fill up. And a bit disappointed that the app didn’t work (key card) Besides that the stay was perfect.

Stayed for 3 weeks to be near the local hospital ahead of the birth of my child. Travelled with my pregnant wife and small dog. Perfect location if you need a hotel that isn’t expensive like most London hotels, with two tube stations on different lines (Piccadilly and Central) in close proximity. As we stayed there for three weeks, I can confidently say this hotel is brilliant. Staff were great, especially everyone on reception who we got to know well during our stay. I’d like to show recognition to Nina, Katie, Rahim and Niamh, always willing to help when needed. Wi-Fi works superbly well in this hotel, and very easy to connect. If you are bringing a dog, this is an extra charge. One minor suggestion would be to allow a plug in to the bedroom TVs - they have a purpose built frame around it so you can’t plug in your HDMI cable to laptops for added viewing options. The casting app options are limited, and the generic TV interface does look a bit dated and was quite slow. That certainly does not overshadow a very pleasant experience of this hotel. Next time I’m in the area, especially for local hospital use or travelling from Heathrow, I will only considering staying here.

I would like to share my experience during my recent stay, as it fell significantly below expectations. Upon arrival, the room was not properly cleaned. We found trash left by the previous guest, and there was no remote control for the TV. Despite calling the front desk, no one responded, which forced us to sleep with the TV on—an uncomfortable situation. We had paid for full breakfast throughout our stay, but the quality was disappointing. The selection was very limited, lacked healthy options, and the eggs were undercooked, making them unsafe for my pregnant wife. On Wednesday night, while the “Do Not Disturb” sign was displayed, a front desk agent entered our room without knocking. At the time, I was in the shower and my wife was in bed. The agent did not speak, took the tea kettle, and left. When my wife addressed this, the agent simply said, “I thought you have kids,” which was highly unprofessional. Unfortunately, based on these experiences, I cannot recommend this property. I have stayed at many hotels across Europe, and this was by far the worst experience.
