I was in a recently refurbished room and had a problem working the technologically advanced light switch, but recognise that’s my error. Taking the key out solved the issue. It was a warm night in London but the air con worked a treat. I don’t eat breakfast but the cafe area was teeming with patrons and the coffee smelt really good !

First time staying at this chain and was so pleasantly surprised by price, location, cleanliness and above all the friendliness of the staff at the front desk. Rooms are basic but all you need, the shower was good. Towels fresh. Pretty much everything you’d need in a hotel room in a big city where you’ll spend most of the time outside of the room. One thing missing for Canary Wharf was an iron but I’m sure I could have asked at desk. I just freestyled instead lol

The staff were nice and polite. It was a clean hotel and very quiet during the day and night (apart from the morning with construction noises outside). Overall a great place to stay and I would definitely come back when I’m in the area again.

Why stay in the west end when you can stay in canary wharf with its great transport connections, walkable areas, bars, restaurants etc. catch the water ferry from 5 mins walk away or the rail and tube connections. Hotel was new and well thought out, staff were fantastic - thoroughly recommended.
