Disappointed to be asked for a £50 deposit at the front desk upon arriving. And still haven't had it refunded. The room was ok although had an odd smell as if the previous occupier had been smoking or vaping. No details at breakfast on how to order anything hot. The selection of continental items was poor.

Hotel was nice. Lady on reception was trying to help us to check in but seemed preoccupied. She did help us get into our room earlier (this was previously arranged but not noted on the booking). She explained to others about breakfast/where the lifts are, what time check out is but just told us from across the lobby that our room was ready and it’s the 3rd floor. Room was clean but there were marks on the wall where, what looked like make up had been cleaned off and a red wine stain on the carpet. At about 7am the fire alarm went off, which is not what you want after a late night! In the morning I could not speak to receptionist (same lady that helped us check in) about this because she was on the phone. She took the card and said checking out, bye bye.

I probably wouldn’t stay here again. The bed was two single beds attached together so the middle of the bed was very uncomfortable. Also the duvet wasn’t wide enough to cover the bed properly so someone was always cold. The TV never worked and looked like it was disconnected. The steam from the shower set off the fire alarm in the room and there was no actual window in the room just 2 sky lights conveniently covered with a large curtain.

went on a football weekend , great location, nice hotel, booked as had parking but was then told wasnt available when i asked how to dind it a week before my stay, which was disappointing to say the least. bae shut at 830 too which waw possibly more disappointing!

Booked as a treat for my son for FA Cup final thinking this was a quality establishment! Unfortunately there was a leak in the room number 506 not sure if coming from aircon which didn’t work! On inspection by reception staff Spent the night with towels on floor as they said no other rooms available! Sent a written complaint to hotel and offered him 25% reduction on next stay, which initially thought ok but on reflection would not want to stay at this hotel again due to lack of customer service! Also requested the £50 deposit which you have to pay on arrival and this still hasn’t been returned to date absolutely diabolical treatment!!!!
