Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Rooms are very hot in summer. No air conditioning. Problem with water in bathroom sink- strangely no cold water- only warm or hot. Carpets smelly. Walls are scuffed. Beds are clean and comfy.
Very friendly staff. The pub that is associated to the hotel is very nice and a great feature. Staff very friendly and helpful. Resolving any issues promptly
Great stay for 2 nights. Dinner in the bar/restaurant was fantastic. Service was great from everyone. Immediate surroundings not bad or good, but 10 minute walk gets you to shops, cafes etc. 20 min walk in either direction to 2 tube stations (picadilly and district lines) so very handy.
This property suited our Olympia needs and the bar and bar staff were excellent, the room we booked for 2 nights was ok but a lack of cold water in the bathroom due to the cold water tank being on the roof needs looking into.
First time ever staying in England from Canada.
The staff were lovely and incredibly accommodating.
The food at the Pub was delicious and the service was excellent.
Highly recommend. Will absolutely be staying again :)!
The staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly liked Tina who helped with directions. The room was large and bed was comfortable. We would have liked a second chair in the room to sit and have coffee in the morning and not have to sit on the bed

Very helpful and polite staff. Good value for money
The Captain Cook is a great place to stay. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and have everything you need. The staff are lovely. We arrived a little early, but they accommodated us and got us into our room early so we could go back into central London and join in with the SAFC party in Trafalgar Square. A little out of the way but within walking distance of the tube, and buses are passing by regularly. I would definitely stay again.
