I understand that the rooms are being updated, which was the reason given for the very poor provision of socket outlets, especially in the bedroom tha we stayed in. The meal options are limited, probably due to the availability of other nearby dining options. Apartments with views overlooking the harbour are great and worth the upgrade payment

Lost its Charisma with poor staff service

This hotel has lost some of its charisma since we last stayed back in 2018 and the service from staff was disappointing. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and cool. We waited a good 20 mins to be served for drinks when we arrived, asked for Olives to accompany the drinks and they never arrived. Although we mentioned this on checkout to the staff and they took it iff the bill, the charge has subsequently reappeared on the credit card statement. It really seems that now the customer is not right and with this attitude is unlikely we will come back.

Excellence in so many ways!

We had to do a last-minute change to this hotel and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. From the moment we checked in until we left everything was excellent. Especially memorable was the staff. Wonderful wonderful people who made you feel like they really cared and wanted to make your stay the best possible. Excellent location as well! Loved everything about it.

Lovely stay in a good sized room. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was well appointed, although potentially a little bit dated. There could do with being some plugs or USB ports next to the bed. Pool was a good size and wasn't busy. Would have preferred the sauna and steam room to be near to the pool so that we could go in together, rather than it being part of the male or female changing rooms.

This is sold as 5 star, the rooms are 3 star. I slipped as there had been a leak over night onto tiled floor, lucky to got away with bruises. Room was not made up for 3 people and didn’t get resolved until 1.30am, very disappointed

Hotel is gorgeous! Very clean and smells so good. Feels newly remodeled, plus the room was suite style. We had appetizers at the restaurant and it was good. Hotel is very close to a tube station, so it worked for us. There was not any cafes or restaurant close by, otherwise, 10/10.
