The staff were very welcoming and kind. The bed felt clean and very comfortable to sleep in so for the price it was fair in this capacity. However the overall state of the hotel was rather run down and did not feel safe. There was general dirt and damages around the room for example the windows safety latch was broken and being on a ground floor this was concerning as anyone could climb in. Thus we had to sleep with the windows closed all night in a heat wave which wasn’t pleasant. It is fine for a night or two considering the price but personally would not stay again

This property could be great with a little bit of maintenance. Good price and facilities are adequate. But shower was difficult to operate as the cold tap was broken and the hose was not connected properly so water was sent at 90 degrees. The TV signal was also not able to pick up channel 1 or 2. Breakfast is adequate but again could be better organised. No plates, no glasses and no bread available at 8am. Some thought on the layout of materials would allow guest to get there breakfast with out delay and been on top of one another.

Good night's sleep.

Attended a wedding and wanted somewhere close to the venue and train station. Twin room was clean and had all the essentials and beds were very comfortable with clean good quality linen. Room was perfect for what we needed. It is on a main road so there was traffic noise but the room was not at the front so not a problem..

They forgot to clean the room a couple of times. Otherwise the place is great. Right in town centre, friendly staff and a lovely restaurant in the hotel with big choice of hot food.

Extremely poor, arrived at hotel receptionist was sleeping. I arrived from a flight at 12:30 am and arrived and 3:30 and already informed the hotel of this. To then tell me they are overbooked and cotact another hotel. I contacted hotel.com. Who made me further wait a 45 min to then send me to a hotel which was again further overbooked I had to waste cab fares on this journey fo no reason. At 4:35 am I booked a new hotel which I had to pay £130 for. I am exteremley disappointed and out of pocket and yet to receive a refund or any compensation after being £150 out of pocket due to further cab fares and booking another hotel.
