Can’t fault anything really we had a great stay staff friendly hotel was lovely great location easy access to all the shops the harbour and the main attractions of Bristol. The food was lovely so much choice to have the bedroom was lovely. Plenty of teas and coffees. Nice that you had a thermostat to turn up the heating. Bathroom was lovely. You had toiletries so that was a nice to have the only downside was going into the bathroom bit of a trip hazard we thought because both me and my husband both tripped apart from that excellent hotel would definitely come back again and would recommend it to friends and family

Shame about the breakfast - confirmed I had a dog and restaurant confirmed I could eat there with the dog for breakfast. So I paid and they then tried to turn me away - after I’d just paid for 3 people! Otherwise, if you don’t have a dog, great place.

This is a lovely hotel, very well appointed with generally very helpful staff and lovely rooms and a magnificent building. The only issue we had was with the service at breakfast (no problems with service at dinner at all). We were left standing waiting to be seated for some time as the queue was not really visible to the main dining area and no-one was seemingly assigned to the desk. In addition the tea and coffee orders were very slow to come (this on more than one occasion) so much so we had virtually finished eating before they arrived. The food was very good. We would have rather had to serve ourselves tea and coffee than wait so long for the service. However, this was a minor point to us in our stay overall which we really enjoyed.

The hotel is beautiful and our Junior Suite was amazing. The only negative were the two functions on at the hotel that went on into the small hours. Really noisy, lots of banging, shouting, screaming and general revelry. Impossible to sleep. A cut off of 12pm is normal in our country giving consideration to other paying guests.
