A nice hotel, near university, the city centre, shops, restaurants. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast buffet. The only downside is the noise, either at the hall or neighbouring room. If you're sensitive to that, get an earplugs. Overall it's nice hotel and will definitely come back.

Right around the corner from the Oxford Train Station and just block from both Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Manchester. A nice walk to great shopping area - Manchester Arndale, close to the Piccadilly station. Lots of coffee shops, pubs, etc. Room was a very good size and quiet. Host breakfast with cereals, yoghurt and other items available. Very nice front desk staff.

Friendly hotel in the heart of Manchester

Lovely hotel in the heart of Manchester close to bars and restaurants. Hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helped us find our way around the city. Check in was quick and even chose the floor of our room. Room was incredibly clean and bed very comfy. Extra amenities like an iron was provided on request. Car parking was available too near the hotel at a reasonable price. Will stay again when visiting Manchester.

I really enjoyed my stay. I used Holiday Inn Express as a night stay for my exams over at the university. Very calm and quiet atmosphere, everyone was lovely. Definitely staying back here for future exams.
