The hotel has an excellent city centre location. Our room was on the inner courtyard side and very quiet which coupled with a comfy bed and blackout curtains gave a great nights sleep. Some good design ideas such as a curved wall to the bathroom gives better access to the bed and a good sized shower but let down by some simple missed things like no coat hooks (it’s Manchester so wet coats are a frequent thing) or the bathroom extractor fan which turns on and off seemingly on a whim rather than when actually needed. A unusual and annoying feature of this hotel is that they don’t have a kitchen but you can order food in. There are menus at the bar with some very limited options so we ordered “off menu” only to be told when the food arrived that we couldn’t eat it in the bar area and would need to go eat in our room because we’d ordered in from a non approved supplier. Not the end of the world but the kind of thing that sums up ibis approach.

Perfect for a one night business stay. Included breakfast which was provided in the neighbouring hotel was really good! Staff were friendly. Overall a bit outdated and bathroom could use a revamp but that is expected for the price point. Would stay here again.
