Recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stay

Lovely hotel. Very quiet accommodation that was nice and spacious. Breakfast was just okay but still enjoyable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Felt very safe and welcomed as a lesbian couple.

Don’t recommend

This hotel is in a scary part of town, I don’t recommend staying here. The hotel itself is in very bad repair, parts of the walls are crumbling or missing, trash and cigarette butts line the hallways. And the hallways are filthy, so much grime and it’s loud. Oddly the rooms seemed pretty clean, the carpet was very stained and worn but the sheets and towels seemed clean.

We went to the Etihad stadium for a match. The Marriott was within an easy walk of the stadium, with safe parking around the corner, a supermarket close by and we stayed in a suite which was really good to be able to have our own food and drink in the comfort of our comfortable suite.

Stayed for two nights over Christmas '24. Some of the work in the corridors on the way to my room looked unfinished. Once in the room there was a lack of attention to detail with the cleaning. The walls had stains on them, and the bathroom walls had dried bogey and splashes from when other guests had brushed their teeth. Unfortunately, there was no housekeeping because of the festive period, so when I cleaned it some of the paint chipped off. Apart from this, the rest of the room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Some of the food was overcooked e.g. hash browns & sausages

Overall comforts

Due the cold weather, not feeling comfortable or warmth in hotel room after checked in. No bedroom door to keep drafts from corridor and other sitting space. Bathroom OK and quite comfortable with warmth and shower hot/cold water easily controlled/adjusted. Breakfast and services excellent.
