We liked the accommodation a lot! The location was great and our room and facilities were fab. Your front of house staff however were unwelcoming, disinterested and unfamiliar with the concept of hospitality. They did not reflect the incredible appeal of this super building and dimmed our experience.

Whilst the location is handy given how close it is to the city centre thats where the positives ended for me. Got there and there was a load of womens hair in the shower that evidently hadn't been cleaned, the knives in the kitchen were filthy as well, room wasnt serviced at all for a 4 night stay the view from the window was just a load of steel girders and air conditioning outdoor units. Paid for a "Grande Studio" yet half of it was practically unusuable, there was a table at the foot of the bed which had the TV on however to sit at the table meant you were about 3 inches away from the screen making it practically impossible to watch, the sofa in the lounge area also was located the other side of a pillar as well as a tiny kitchen table being shoved innthe corner of the kitchenette, so realistically the ONLY place you could watch TV from was in bed, completely pointless having the lounge/kitchen area. In honesty citysuites2 if you can get it at a reasonable price is a MUCH better execution on the concept, the rooms are of a better standard, the gym is much better equipped, and the layout of the rooms is also far superior, doubt i'll be stopping here again

Room was lovely and clean. Had an issue with the toilet but they soon came to sort. Ideal facilities and lively and spacious. Only downside was room doesnt seem to get any warmer than 21°what they have set it as, so the corridors was warmer.

Rooms was ok.

Room itself was nice, but a very long walk away from reception. Check in, I came to the hotel at 1pm and asked if there was any availability to check in early. The staff member said no as current occupant had extended their stay. I asked if there was an alternative room she said no. I said can I drop my bag off, she said yes but it would be next to her desk but she was not liable if it was taken (all this despite website saying there is a dedicated area for bags to be stored). Given this, I ended up holding my case until I later checked in.

Mainly positive

Staff were welcoming. Room was large but not particularly comfortable. Bed was good though. Room was clean. Location is great. Gym very good, big with lots of equipment. Biggest negative was the smell in the corridors which was pungent to say the least. Some of the carpets are well worn too.

Great hotel, friendly staff, let down by a crying baby all night. Not much the staff could do, but they should look where they put couples with young kids to avoid disturbing other guests.

Amazing, everything you could need

Spotlessly clean, really well presented, very comfortable bed, very quiet to say you are in the middle of Manchester, staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Great location. Hotel itself was beautiful. The room was lovely, bed was comfy. However the shower was the worst one I’ve ever used. It was a waterfall shower, but everytime you turned the temperature up, there was no pressure. Defeats the point of a waterfall shower. Had to have cold showers. Was put in an accessible room for some reason too, with the red pulley cables, not great when with a young child. Wouldn’t stay again based on the shower.

Really lovely hotel in a very convenient location. Had everything we needed innit amd more. Staff were really friendly and despite it being central, it was really quiet. The only slight downside we had was the frosted glass bathroom door didnt afford alot of privacy but wasnt a huge issue.
