Pleasant surprise: clean, comfortable, convenient, quiet, and with kind staff. As others note, the design of the shower cabin is not the best, and water does spray throughout the bathroom. Towels also fall too easily from the hooks. And the non-smoking policy might need additional enforcement.

The room was fresh and looked new, I had a window looking on to Newcastle and the bed was comfortable, the hotel felt like a premier inn upgraded for a lower price. The staff were polite and helpful
