Met by a very friendly chap who booked us in, room was spacious, clean, the bathroom was larger than expected and had plenty of towels, stocked with handwash & shower gel. Plenty of tea & coffee, bottles of water also. Bed was very comfortable, had a room at the rear so overlooked a very well kept garden (even in the winter), There was plenty of parking spaces Breakfast was a plenty served in a room that was bright, clean overlooking the garden also. I would stay here again.

Really nice stay. Room was super clean, cosy and bed was really comfortable. Nice tea, coffee and biscuits. Parking included. Breakfast was a real standout, really amazing full English and great selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, pastries etc. All really well cooked with good ingredients - unlike so many hotels. Can’t fault it for the money!

We truly enjoyed our stay!The hotel's location is quite convenient: a 40-minute walk to the city center, but you can also take the bus, which stops right outside the hotel. The breakfast is beyond praise, fresh and delicious. The room and bathroom are beautifully renovated, and the bed was very comfortable. Absolutely lovely place!

One of weakest showers I have had this decade - truly pathetic. Such hard pillows I got neck ache, and a terribly hot room that wasn't any better even after the radiators were off. Couldn't open the windows while sleeping as the noise from the Banbury Road was too much. Was a very uncomfortable sleep therefore, and sleeping is why we go to a hotel after all. The pluses are that the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was ok. I have little idea why this is a 4 star hotel.

Quiet even though we are near the street. You can hear some noise but not annoying. Bed is hard for my husband’s liking but Im okay with it. Sheets is fresh and warm.

damp smell room was rusty, cracked dated bathroom, cold room, noisy next to the Main Street, no soundproofing, draft, small, no fridge and amenities, dirty toilet brush in the room, not a 4 star, everyone on this review list is insane — like a poor student accom. recommend you stay at Hilton Littlemore for same price.

DO NOT stay at this hotel. As always, we place do not disturb on our door during all our stays. We prefer housekeeping to not come in. The day we checked in and the following, my husband and I were out sightseeing until late into the evenings. On the 3rd morning, my husband went out alone. I stayed back, working quietly on my laptop on the bed. Late morning, I hear noise at our door. A man came walking in. No knock, no announcement, nothing. The look on his face when he saw me was something. Since there hadn’t been a single noise from our room and we had also missed breakfast that morning, they assumed we were gone. I asked him what he was doing in our room. He said housekeeping. I told him no way and there’s a sign on our door and I didn’t believe him. He had a cleaning bottle in his hand but nothing else. No other products or equipment. His cart was down on the 2nd floor & we were on the 3rd. I said if he was truly entering to clean, he would’ve knocked or announced housekeeping as he entered. I believe he came in for another reason. Management spoke to employee & we got apology The pictures are misleading. The large pretty yard/garden is not on this property. While the bed and linens were clean, the rooms are old & in disrepair. The carpet was stained & torn. Bathroom tiles cracked. No ventilation in the bathroom so steams up & remains so for long period. We had room on 3rd floor with sloped ceilings. I’m 5’7” and hit my head a few times in the shower and by the bedside.
