No Hot Water

On arrival was informed that there was no hot water. Extremely disappointing as all i wanted was a shower. Staff member did apologise and offered free parking and a breakfast voucher by way of apology. Not having hot water made the whole experience poor.

I stayed for just one night on a work visit near the hotel. Was told, after I checked in, that they had an issue with the water temp and the water would just be warm. I arrived late so went straight to bed. When I needed to take a shower the next morning I came to find the water was in fact freezing cold. As you can imagine making it incredibly difficult to wash. After asking the front desk they had no fix for me at all, so continued my freezing cold shower to get ready for work. On checkout, I asked the front deck for some sort of compensation for this and was met with a no. Not good.

Remade South Mimms

The hotel is easy to find and the staff we met were very friendly. When I got out of the shower and sat on the edge of the bed a piece of spring or something metal came through the mattress and stabbed me in the back of the leg. It’s definitely not a recent defect to the mattress.

Horror Movie

I was forced to book a hotel extremely quickly due to a broken pipe issue at my home. I don't live far from this hotel and it was quite cheap and now i know why! There is no grout in the tiles in the shower or bathroom floor, the mattress looks like a horror movie. I would avoid this place as it is not clean. I even brought my own hoover to vacuum the bedroom floor!!

We needed a convenient stop over after a long day out. Reception lady was polite and friendly, room was clean but basic. Tea and coffee available. Good shower nothing really to complain about, it’s a hotel at a service station so we aren’t looking for 5 star luxury. A good stay

Not a bad stay but not great. Bed was way too soft. Window was rotting on the wooden frame and quite a few of the bathroom floor tiles were cracked. (App wont let me add photos either)
