Unfortunately, there were 2 cancelled flights the day we stayed, which meant lots of travellers staying. Kitchen clearly understaffed, a lot of diners waiting more than 1. 5 hours after ordering, to get meals We waited 1.5 hours, and whilst my meal was delivered, my partner’s meal was forgotten. The staff were clearly swamped and apologetic, and agreed not to charge us for my meal or drinks. My impression was that the place was lightly staffed as it was a public holiday, probably to save paying time & a half wages and incurring days in lieu, and there seemed to be no contingency plan in place for unexpected extra guests. Felt sorry for the staff on the floor. Disappointing, as previous stays have been really good, and we usually have Naumi as our preferred airport accommodation. Hope this feedback provides food for thought for the management team.
