Wonderful stay

The hotel was in a GREAT location! Within walking distance of Mathew St and the Cavern Club & restaurant. It’s an old building, a little beat up, but nicely renovated. The bed wasn’t all that comfortable (sheets felt a little stiff) and the shower is tiny. I’m a 5’7” woman and could barely even turn around in it. But it worked! We had a balcony that we thought had a terrible view (looking at the building right next door) until we heard the noise later that night - the balcony was right over Mathew Street!! Looking down at the Cavern Club!! Great! ALL the staff were kind, very friendly, and helpful. They stored our bags when we went on a tour and were helpful when we returned to retrieve them. The morning breakfast in the restaurant was also wonderful. Liverpool is a FANTASTIC city!!!

The staff were fantastic. They went above and beyond. The hotel is gorgeous in a great area of town. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Mahmoud the manager was amazing. And Johnny the in-house musician was fantastic

We were there to experience the Beatles experience and the location was perfect. Easy to access shops so all round a great location to stay. Bar and hall area were interesting and welcoming. Sadly our room was a little tired and needed minor works done.

Beautiful decor. Large and spacious rooms. Very comfortable! Despite not receiving my 5 am wake up call and not being able to fetch a cab (Uber to the rescue), the short stay was lovely. Convenient and peaceful location. Looking forward to staying there soon again.

Sleep disruption

You have to very careful what room you get in this hotel. The noise from the live music locally is so loud I couldn’t hear the TV in the room. Advised by staff it would end no later than midnight but that’s not acceptable when your day has started at 5am. Wouldn’t offer a room change until it had reached that time by which point your rest has been disrupted.

Had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thr breakfasts were excellent. Hotel is well located for Matthew Strret, Albert Docks, Liverpool 1, Anfield etc.
