The air conditioning did not function effectively and, in fact, seemed to cause the room to warm up when switched on. The hotel staff were kind enough to provide a large fan, which helped stabilise the temperature somewhat, but overall the room remained uncomfortable and impacted our stay.

We arrived on a late flight from Maui, so I booked a room at The Novotel for the location. The walk to the hotel from the International terminal was literally 2 minutes. It's located within the airport property just outside the door and across the drive. The room was clean, beds super comfortable and quiet. We had a great nights sleep, up early excited to start our vacation! Couldn't be happier and will book again when in Auckland.
