Good value

Lovely looking hotel, room a bit small and dark but great value. Don't expect peace and quiet as it's city centre. Very friendly staff and a decent enough breakfast, though could do with more veggie/vegan options.

Helpful and friendly staff

We had a very good stay at the Sir Thomas hotel very smooth check in all members of staff very friendly and helpful we asked for an extra sheet with it being hot the lady on reception brought them straight up herself .The kingsize bed was very comfortable and the room was very large our only one little negative was the small wardrobe my long dresses didn’t fit looked like a child’s wardrobe but we managed fine .The breakfast was excellent everything you needed pastries toast cereal and a full hot cooked breakfast. We would definitely recommend and would stay again

First room wasnt up to much had some dampness in the corner but girl on reception was lovely and sorted another room for us which was great had a lovely stay and the breakfast was amazing. Shame we could only stay the 2 days in the end. Will definitely be back

Noisy

The hotel itself was good, however it was very hot in the room even though there was no heating on, no air-con and you could only open the window a few inches. However, the biggest problem was the noise from surrounding night clubs, the beat went on until the small hours of the morning, also sounds of people, traffic all night through. Wouldn't recommend if you want a peaceful nights' sleep.

Poor customer service skills.

Shocking customer service skills at breakfast didnt tell us availability of breakfast. Food luke warm. Had to ask 3 times for replaced hot water and oramge juice and glasses. Sausages hardlys cooked. Staff on phone while waiting for breakfast items flicking their hair about. Advised manager who was unprofessional too. Asled for eggs benedict received and was terrible semt back so didnt gmvharge extra £4 for this.

We were extremely frustrated when we were told that our luggage could not be held at the hotel. We had to pay to keep our luggage in a nearby store until check in. We then had to pay extra to have a later checkout due to our luggage again because we had tours that would not be completed until 11:30am. This hotel was the most expensive place we stayed within a 3 week vacation and honestly, was the most disappointing in terms of customer service. We will not be recommending this hotel to friends.

Very nice 👌.

Our 4 night stay at the Sir Thomas Hotel was very good. Ideally situated within walking distance of most of the places and things we wanted to visit. Our room was fairly comfortable with a lovely shower room but with nowhere except 1 hook to hang a towel. This should be addressed. Unfortunately the room was always too hot 🔥 even with the window open to capacity and no AC. The buffet breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Bar area for evening drinks was lovely and not too expensive. Altogether a great stay.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay here and the hotel was immaculate. Very quiet, fabulous breakfast and helpful staff. Within short walking distance of train station, bus station, shops and attractions. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Staff were good, breakfast was ok. The room had no air conditioning and was very warm, the window catch that stops the window opening too far was broken which if I had a child with me would have been a concern, but as it was so hot 32c it meant we could open the window wide. There was stains on the ceiling near the tv which was off putting but the room and bathroom was clean. Bed was comfy and good choice of pillows. The walls were a deep purple which felt sticky to the touch and the furniture was black, no my taste and probably wouldn’t have booked if I had known how dark the room was. It was very noisy at night and was woken a number of times but not the hotels fault it’s the location and having to have the window open to keep the room cool

Super friendly stay

Smashing friendly hotel. It was very warm on the night of our stay. No aircon but requested a fan and one was delivered within 5 minutes of asking. Excellent location for shopping and theatre. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I'll make this a straightforward review. Good points. Location. The hotel is situated in a superb spot very close to Mathew street and only a ten minute or so walk to Lime street station. Staff. The staff we all extremely polite and courteous. Bad or not so good points. The room was fairly basic and unfortunately had no air conditioning in what proved to be the hottest few days of the year. We were given a fan but in all honesty it did little or nothing. The lift was slow and often felt like the doors were not going to open on exit. I would in all fairness recommend this hotel for the location and staff alone but it could certainly do with an update.

Great hotel

Lovely weekend to visit Liverpool as the waether was gorgeous. Hotel in ideal location, close to everywhere. Although room was super clean and cosy, it was unbelievably hot as it had no air con! But didn't help that the weather was so hot as well
