Really lovely 1 night stay, unique room with what looked like original timber beams and sloping roof with skylight window. Cozy and felt very clean and comfortable, great room amenities (microwave, fridge, kitchen sink, coffee machine, kettle, various crockery/cutlery). Only negative was that the UI of the television wasn't great, hard to navigate. But absolutely lovely stay otherwise, and really friendly staff - highly recommend.

Lovely, clean hotel in a lively area. So many bars and restaurants to choose from without having to leave the street. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfy and the kitchenette was an added bonus. Between the hours of 6-7pm, you are offered a free welcome drink of either red wine, white wine or prosecco in the reception/lounge area which was a really nice way to start our anniversary celebrations. We would definitely stay here again.

The Resident is a "Premier Inn with Make Up". When you cut through the touchy feely hand written card, nice artwork in Reception, very pleasant receptionists, and old brickwork building, you geta basic Premier Inn bedroom with a small sink and a coffee machine as "extras". Except that in our room the upholstery was stained and the bathroom tiles broken and unsightly. We enjoyed our stay in Liverpool and the location of the Resident was convenient. Would we stay here again? Probably not as the Premier Inn is just round the corner and we would have saved a bundle.

The room was fab, the staff were lovely but I got no sleep because of how loud music was being played in nearby bars. No soundproofing at all, not sure if this is the case with every room but I could hear the thumping musicceven with my ear plugs in. Would not stay again for this reason only, everything else was great.
