A good option for when you’re not bothered about the frills when staying somewhere. Had the basics and was in good condition. Very easy to get to from the city centre and close to the Etihad Campus, very walkable. Some lights not working in the room but not really bothered on this as we just needed to sleep.

Overral brilliant stay for the price of the room. Was in Manchester for a concert at Co-Op Live Arena & was so convenient as this Ibis is so close, the room was perfect for the price, beds were very comfortable & it was a 5 minute walk from a Sainsbury’s. 5/5 :)

Suitable for the Co-op Live arena

Booked for a one night stay to go to the Co-op Live arena so was used just as a base. Only two trams stops away from the arena and walked back after the show. A lot cheaper than other hotels and whilst it may lack some of the extras of those hotels it was clean, the staff were great and you could buy bottles of lager from the fridge to sit in the seating area after the walk back from the show. Would return if ever going the Co-op Live again.

Cleanliness of the hotel was good. However, the room we had with 2 single beds wasn’t exactly 2 single beds as they were literally touching so we were basically sleeping in the same bed. There was also no kettle in the room which was disappointing. The staff were good though, a nice lady served us and sorted a taxi out for us, she was very efficient and provided excellent service.

Within walking distance of Manchester Piccadilly station, easy check in at hotel and staff polite and helpful. Tram station about 200 metres away and ideal for Etihad campus and Co-op Live. Rooms are ideal for an overnight stay, nice shower and comfy bed, pillows are a let down, not the best. Otherwise good location, would stay again but will take my own pillow.

Good value for money. You have to pay for t bags and a kettle which is a Novel way of bringing the rooms costs down I guess. Comfortable, good location. They have two lifts and they are the slowest lifts I have ever experienced and that was the only downside.

Booked a 3 person room which was as expected, however there was no pillow cases, over sheet or duvet cover in bedding. Room had separate toilet and shower cubicle, but nowhere private away from other guests to get ready / dressed. Fine for a family / couple, but was sharing with a few friends both male and female. However check in staff were friendly and room was clean.

Great stay to see a concert at Co-op live arena

All the staff were 5star, at check in, breakfast, checkout. They were friendly, helpful, informative about directions and transport options. The room was very basic, probably more so than we expected but had all the essentials. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast was as advertised and good quality.

Rooms were small but contained everything we needed for an overnight stay. As others have said the shower just has a frosted glass door leading to the bedroom but this was not a problem for us. My only quibble would be the lack of a kettle. There was the option to pay for a tea tray but as we would only need 1 drink this was not worth it but would have paid if we were staying longer. We went to a show at Co-op live and it was ideally situated.
