Overall very good experience at this location. The building and rooms are DATED but if you can look past that it was a good experience and VALUE for the location and the amenities. We stayed with our family of 4 (2 teenagers) and were comfortable in a 1 bedroom suite. We loved having a FULL kitchen with ice making fridge and a washer/dryer! This location has a great walking score to amenities and groceries. Looking for the BEST coffee, check out Bad Ass coffee a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Wonderful atmosphere and mostly friendly staff. The location is excellent, with a food truck park and grocery store within a 5-minute walk. The suites are a bit outdated, but they were very clean. We appreciated that we had our room upgraded upon arrival! We'd highly recommend this hotel and will return here in the future provided they keep their prices reasonable.

All apartments are very roomy. The 2 BR apartments are perfect for a family of 4. Tennis, pickle ball, free dvd rentals and 2 pools and lots of activities at the resort. Free use of the BBQ and the BBQ area. We liked also the easy access to the food truck festival that is open every day from 5-10pm and the supermarket and stores int he strip mall across the street. What we did not like was the added US$25 per day for resort fees and the US$10 per day for parking.

This hotel is a nice place. Close to grocery store and shops. Has beach access. The king size bed we had was very firm. The grounds are nicely kept and so is the pool areas. We would stay there again. The only thing I can say that I didn’t like about my stay was the hard mattress on the bed.

My husband and I have made our trip to the Aston Kaanapali Shores resort an annual tripevery August. We love its proximity to, well, basically everything. Having your own apartment with full kitchen and amenities is such a fun perk. Can’t wait till next year…Mahalo!

Family Vacation

We were only in Maui for 2 nights but the hotel was very good. The pool was a lot of fun for my two kids (ages 12 & 7) and the close proximity to the beach was great. The room was good, little disappointed the bathroom door to the master suite came off it's track and they didn't repair it (reported it by 10am, had to fix it myself by 6pm). Outside of that I had no complaints. The full size kitchen was great, the living room was comfortable and the bedrooms were spaced far enough part to allow everyone to not disturb anyone. I would definitely stay there again.

$25 Mandatory Resort Fee not included in price

I was just staying one night between 2 one week stays between other resorts. Seemed pretty cheap, but what I can't find in the listing is you will be charged a mandatory $25 resort fee upon check in, it's not paid thru the app, even though it says all fees included. My room seemed a little tired, but clean. Was basically a one bedroom apartment, which I didn't expect. Has 2 pools, one by the beach (standard rectangular pool) with a hot tub, and a pool closer to the hotel that would be really great for kids. There's a hot tub by this pool also. Nice beach. Overall it's pretty nice, would be nice for families with kids. Parking $10.99 per 24 hours.
