Unforgettable Oceanfront Stay!Our family had a wonderful that truly exceeded our expectations. The condo is comfortable, clean, and very well maintained and was perfect for our relaxing Maui getaway.The highlight, without question, was the incredible ocean view. The lanai faces west/northwest, giving us front-row seats to stunning sunsets and constant ocean activity. During our stay, we easily spotted 15 whales in the distance. Many breaching and playing offshore, along with 10 or more sea turtles swimming near the beach below. Watching them from the lanai was an unforgettable experience.The location is excellent. It is right on the water and convenient to everything in West Maui. The waves crash against the seawall all night and increase in power through the night! It was amazing to hear and sometimes feel the power of these waves! Everything about the condo made it feel like a true home away from home.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, oceanfront Maui experience.

2 weeks on the coast

we had a terrific time at this condo. The check in process was really smooth, great communication and support from the management and owners. We appreciated the nice welcome gift set and all the clean towels and basic supplies made settling in easy. Mid week cleaning in our 2 week stay was a happy surprise and the view of course was unbeatable. Our only tip might be to bring earplugs if you are sensitive to surf crashing against the seawall at high tide (with the windows open). Not a complaint though, the ocean view can't be beat and we we loved the little beach, pool, and walkability. Mahalo!

Clean and comfortable condo. The lanai was our highlight with the views and turtle scouting. The beds were comfortable. Nice to have use of the basics like small cooler, ice and beach chairs. Thanks for having us!

Amazing view

The Aloha condo was amazing. The views were incredible, we loved sitting on the lanai and watching the waves roll in. We saw turtles throughout the day. The condo was stocked with everything we needed including beach towels and chairs. The kitchen and outside grill allowed us to cook meals instead of eating out for every meal. The space was perfect for our family of four. The owners clearly take pride in their rental. We cant wait to come back.

Closest you can get to the ocean

This property is literally right at the water's edge, you can't get any closer! We stayed here with our three and five year old kids and absolutely loved the location! The unit is very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked. The full bath is accessible from both bedrooms which made it convenient for a family. You can see the beach and coastline from the king bed. Turtles and whales are wasy to see. Small sandy beach for the kids to play. Easy parking, close to condo. Everything we were looking for!

Wonderful place

It's just like described. Great location, views sounds and amenities. Bring ear plugs if you're sensitive to loud wave sounds and there is no a/c (not a big deal but if you're used it having it just be aware of it). We will be back again

Perfect Maui retreat

Lovely, peaceful, week at the beach. Turtles, a Hawaiian monk seal, and miles of ocean. Lahaina is gone so we are heartbroken about the devastation and loss of lives. Easy to avoid that area and still enjoy Maui.

Views and ocean waves

We loved this VRBO. The condo is well maintained, the living room was comfortable and relaxing, the kitchen was the perfect size, but we enjoyed the lanai the most. The parking was easy, there’s an elevator so it made bringing our luggage up and down easy, and there is a perfect beach right in front which made late afternoon swims and early morning snorkeling very easy! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great stay right on the ocean

My husband and I and our 2 young daughters stayed a week here and absolutely loved it. We love staying in this area on Maui as we think its a perfect location with so many things close by, and feel like this condo is the one we will return to over and over again! The condo sits on its own private beach which has good snorkeling and swimming, perfect for kids who are just learning to swim and snorkel in the ocean. Lots of sea turtles and we even saw a seal twice! The pool is warm and the grounds are kept clean. The condo itself is clean and comfortable and has all you need. The view is spectacular! I love falling asleep to the ocean every night. It is loud though and my husband had trouble sleeping at times! Absolutely love it here and can't wait to return.

Wow! We had an incredible stay at Nohonani! We walked in during a gorgeous sunset. Listening to the ocean was so soothing and we slept well! Super recommendations from hosts on BBC activities and so comfortable for a family of 4!

Wonderful week in Maui

The condo at Nohonani was perfect for us. It has a gorgeous view of the ocean from the balcony. You fall asleep to the crash of the waves on the beach. The location is terrific, within walking distance of some great restaurants, stores, and coffee shops, a short drive to Lahaina and beautiful beaches. We cooked a few nights in the condo and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were so pleased with this place. If we ever come to Maui again, we will definitely stay here again! We loved it!

A very special place

This is a very special place! We would definitely stay here again sometime in the future. The kitchen was loaded with everything we needed to cook our own meals, and the view... well that speaks for itself! We spent a lot of time on the balcony or sitting on the (awesome) sofa meditating on the sea. Also, the tips in the welcome letter that Gerald and Maureen sent us probably saved us 2+ hours at the airport/getting groceries, so we are grateful for that too! Be sure to check the tips in the guestbook as well as peruse the novels and guidebooks left in the cabinet - we admired how thoughtful the reading collection was and really felt as if we were sharing our hosts' home with them. There are a few quirks that probably need to be addressed sooner than later, such as broken closet doors in the bedroom and what felt like lumpy old mattresses, but this seems like a well-cared for place and I assume that is already on the list for repairs. We also had a minor hiccup with a cleaner who came inside the condo to start cleaning and make a video/speaker call (unmasked) at exactly 11am as we were getting ready to leave. While we acknowledge definitely needed to be out by then (as it was 11am) my toddler had just had a *major* tantrum and I could have used 3 minutes of grace while I put on his shoes and grabbed our last bag. Again, minor hiccup that could have used better judgement on both parts, but definitely a warning the check-out time here is no joke.

The best view, a few things broken

The view is A+, pool is great, and neighbors are very friendly. We had a few things broken in the unit. The bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work, the washing machine didn’t work, and a window pane in the bedroom was missing. The last one meant we could hear the outside waves crashing all night. I sent an email and message on VRBO with no response. All in all, it’s good for the view but no AC and condo issues were a drag.

Great stay

Loved seeing the turtle s every day. Beach area is not too big but plenty of swim area still. There is a nice beach/park right at walking distance. The condo was perfect for our family. Everything was easy to find and had chairs, umbrella and little ice chest at the condo to use. Was our first time in Maui. We stayed in unit 305. The view of the ocean was amazing as well as listening to the waves each night to sleep. We will be back again. Aloha

Amazing location and views!

We had a great time here! It was amazing watching the sunsets and listening to the waves crashing. The private beach is a great place to swim with the turtles and relax. A few updates to the place would make the condo absolutely perfect, but we didn't spend too much time inside. We would love to stay here again. Took a few emails to reach someone but after that great communication. Thank you for letting us stay at your place. It was perfect for what we needed and were looking for.

Peace in a Magical place

Our 5th time and it always is magical. The private beach with turtles swimming by all day. The pool to hang out in. The view is amazing. Sleeping to the sound of the ocean. We love it here. I'm sure we'll be back.

Amazing condo!

We’re a family of 4 and stayed for a week at this property. We can’t say enough about the location - the ocean is just outside and most points of interest are a very short drive away, from downtown Lahaina to Whaler’s Village to Honolua Bay for snorkeling. The pool is situated right against a small beach which generally stays private - it’s amazing. This unit was clean, easy to access and could comfortably sleep 7 due to the long couch and pull-out bed. We found it an excellent value for the price and will plan to stay here again.

Best view!!

You cannot beat the view at this condo! You are practically on top of the ocean with big sliding glass doors, even an ocean view from the master bedroom! The place itself is simple but just what we needed. There is also a great little common area with pool and private beach with frequent turtle visits! Only complaint would be by my husband saying the ocean was too loud at night LOL it wasn’t an issue for me!
