Once again the best

Once again an amazing stay, we have been staying at this hotel for the past 4 years, and it never disappoints. A block away Fremont Street Experience. Live bands, live dj's, crowds are not to bad. I mean it has its crazies but that's Vegas for you. But you can no go wrong with staying here.

This is my second time staying at the downtown grand and it was excellent. Greg was so helpful and courteous while checking in. The environment is so enjoyable we will continue to stay here every time we come.

Not how it looks..

Does not look like the pictures. Stayed in the Grand tower. It's old, a bit smelly and the shower had mold. I don't know how this is labeled as a 4 star hotel. I don't like to leave "bad" reviews, but I would have liked more info. Maybe the experience would be different in a different tower? It seems like there are some slight decor upgrades that look nice in photos, but actually getting in and looking at the details is different. The front desk was kind. Two bottles of water each day was nice. Didn't make it to the pool as it's the winter. Free parking in the parking garage across the street. Must get ticket validated each day for free parking. Elevator doesn't work in the parking garage. Easy check in parking right in front makes it convenient. I heard this is the best option at this price point downtown.

No housekeeping

There was no housekeeping. You had to ask to have your room clean. When I did, no one came. The sink was stopped up, maintenance came but the problem wasn't fixed. Toilet flushed extremely loud that it scared you! The noise from Freemont street was continuous. This was my second stay and my last.

I like that it is a little cheaper to gamble here. But the resort fees are expensive especially in the winter season when the facilities aren’t used.

Not for Adults!!

People were all very friendly and helpful. But the hotel itself is pretty awful. Rooms had broken heating units during cold winter nights. Toilet that was very difficult to get to flush. Poor lighting and outlets for electrics. No coffee maker; no mini-bar. And unbelievably noisy rooms facing the Fremont Scene with Rock Concert booming music going on until 3:30 - 4:00 a.m.

Did not like no fridge or microwave or coffee pot. Brought my own coffee pot. Little housekeeping, check in was ridiculous. It was about 30 minutes from the normal Check-in.We had to check our bags and wait by then.There was a pile up.

We like the property and the location. Near Fremont Street but off to the side so you don’t get as much noise as you do at some of the other resorts. The staff everywhere was Awesome! I feel like the property isn't being kept up and is declining. The lounge area and casino bathrooms were dirty. Our room wasn't cleaned well and our bathroom in our room was filthy. The heater in our room was very loud. I hope someone from corporate reads this and makes some improvements because this was one of my favorite spots downtown 🙏
