The room itself wasn't so bad. The most confusing thing was getting to your room, you had to enter a different building than the Oasis at Gold Spike reception and walk through a dim-lit adult bar/game room area to get to the elevators. Not the best system for families or elderly. The Gold Spike used to be a casino but it has recently been sold and converted into a Adult bar/game room with pool tables set up. The area the hotel is located in is also notorious for being very run down and sketchy, full of homeless, mentally ill and addicts so keep that in mind if you want to find a place to stay around North Las Vegas Blvd.

The room was very clean and well kept, which I really appreciated. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff made the process smooth. It was also nice and quiet at night, so we were able to rest comfortably without any noise disturbances. They also have a nice outside entertainment area, which was a great added feature and made the stay more enjoyable. The only downside was that the shower didn’t get very hot, which was a bit disappointing. Also, even though we were staying at the hotel, we still had to show ID to get into the club on-site. I understand security reasons, but it would’ve been nice if hotel guests had a smoother entry process.

My friend and I had an amazing 4 day stay at Oasis! The staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean. Miguel specifically from the front desk was awesome! Bar staff were friendly as well! Definitely a gem in the Downtown Vegas area!

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and had no issues. The fenced rec area, while not fancy, was a fun amenity and a good way to spend a little down time. Location is a very short walk to Fremont but also far enough away that the noise from Fremont wasn’t an issue. A/C worked well, shower was hot, and bed was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
