The room was clean and the staff was really quite accommodating. I could tell that this was a Motel that was acquired and then fixed up by the Oasis. Were there imperfections? Yes. But for the price they were quickly overlooked. Honestly I felt a considerable amount of effort by the staff. And that is really all I could ask for.

Great location right next to fremont. Staff is super friendly and helpful. There's a small lot right next to the hotel which is free if you're staying at the hotel which is super convenient.

Keep in mind when you book, there are two different properties here. The Oasis AND The Gold Spike. I thought I booked at the Oasis(which looks like a cool 60's inspired motor lodge), but when I checked in I was sent over to the Gold Spike (hotel rooms above a sleezy bar) The whole place reeked of cheap walmart "spice" perfume mixed with cockroach spray. So gross. The parking lot is a joke. You are forced to abandon your car across the street in a unguarded parking lot filled with homeless. Not a good situation. The only positives was the room was good sized, clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

Room was ok ( it is a cheaper option, so don’t expect luxury). Smoke smell in the corridor by the elevator. There is a nightclub on the ground floor. Can get very noisy. Also our room was noisy, with loud cars on the road. We were on the 6th flood. Staffs are amazing, very helpful. They helped us with check-in, luggage, information. It is well situated, close to Fremont street and some good restaurants.
